I just purchased this setup after seeing your 'arr' video. How did you get TrueNAS to see the drives in the Yottamaster? I'm unable to get Raid1 set up through the Yottamaster software, and TrueNAS only sees one of the drives so I can't setup Raid1 that way.

Hey Nero, did you get the usb-c version of the yottamaster? Once you load the drives they should show up as sda-sde. It was plug and play for me. You shouldn’t have to mess with and yottamaster software…

@@Randyisanerd I did get the USB C version, but only one of the 5 drives would show up in TrueNAS. Yottamaster support was helpful and explained that my issue is normal when using TrueNAS with a DAS. I'm thinking of getting the Yottamaster that supports hardware RAID, but want to make sure that would work before I buy it. Maybe if I host TrueNAS in ProxMox and configure the drive in ProxMox first. We'll see.

You want the truenas software to do the raid, not the yottamaster hardware. Trust me. If usb-c is working properly you’ll see drives sda sdb sdc sdd and sde available. Try moving the drives and/or switching usb cables…this shouldn’t be an issue.

@@Randyisanerd I think it was the unit I received, bought it used on Amazon. New one is getting delivered tomorrow.
