It was a great caliber for sheep, and goats. So I would highly recommended it for whitetail, and mule deer. Very similar to the 7SAUM in that it’s flat and fast. Just a bit lighter. I would stick to the larger Calibers for bigger game. I take the 7SAUM for Moose over the 6.5PRC, knowing that the 6.5 PRC will get it done as well.

I have the same rifle paired up with a GW Nexus in 300 PRC. Great rifles, pretty much covered for NA with those two. Haven’t shot a 30 cal magnum in the Clymr, suspect it’s a little brisk even with the muzzle break. My Clymr is only 7 lb 3oz with scope and sling

Curious of your switch from the 7SAUM, how'd the PRC perform this year?

Those things are overpriced. That rifle can't do anything my fierce can't do for half the price.

@jasonwest1143 lol maybe it is me. Maybe I'm just good enough. I can shoot under half minute with a ruger american predator with just about any factory ammo I've tried. That rifle is like an 8th of the cost. I get it, looks cool factor. That's why I have a ridgeline and ct carbon rival. Both are amazing. Maybe it is me. Keep practicing i guess.
