David I am 68 years old. From not taking care of my back. I am now in a wheelchair. Just some friendly advice. Find you the best neurosurgeon in your state or go to Duke medical hospital and ask for Dr Michael luglund. He did neck surgery on my neck . However he knows who he would let do his back surgery. I saw you reading the Bible, so may like this. He prays over you before surgery. He told me his gift of his hands is not his . He truly believes his hands are blessed. I believe it.

Oh man when I see your pain..it brings back memories when I had sciatica!!!I lived it for eight years..I cleaned 17 residentials and worked 3rd shift in manufacturing….I started with a chiropractor and ended up with an orthopedic doctor….He advised me that he wouldn’t do surgery…so he had me fit with a brace that cinched up and I wore it under my clothes…. Boy did I get relief..It taught me to bend from the knees instead of my back…When I see you in pain it brings back memories of me…..Please use the winch as much as possible….Please take care!!!❤❤❤

Hi David, I'm like many others here, I've had back issues for years. One thing I would say is really important, you need to get you a back support brace! Also, get a Good quality ice pack. If you use an ice pack while either sitting or laying flat (only 20 minutes at a time),it can help reduce the swelling in the tissues in your spine that will help with the pain.

@@standard5150 Have you tried " minor " changes in and what you do in your life ?? Simple as not using steps/ stairs. Or....standing straight up for hours ?? I milked cows for 45 years..... using/ lifting the old surge bucket milkers weighing over 80 pounds...... visited the chiropractor weekly. In 2016 I quit milking cows. With that I also switched mowing my lawn with rider mower ( it was a bumpy ride ). I started using a pull behind mower pulled with my four wheeler. With in one year my back pain disappeared ! Have not been back to a chiropractor now since 2017. Either my putting my arms over the cows back was causing issues while milking ( to support myself ) or the rider mower was causing the issues. Try the very simple changes in your life. You might be surprised whats causes the pain ! Primary.... get out and get active !

My eldest son was diagnosed with AS 41 years ago. He was 14. His hips hurt. Had his first hip replacement at age 27 (not a typo) second hip replacement age 33 and 3 hip replaced the first one because he wore it out. It was in his spine too. His pain finally stopped when his entire spine was fused. Wish I could tell you the whole story but he’s 55 this November and stands upright. He refused to let it push him over. One of the hardest workers I’ve ever known. 🇨🇦

I am very happy to hear your son is doing better now. He sounds like a very very brave individual. My AS is not as severe as your sons. I was curious to know if he has had problems with his AS bothering his internal organs at all. About four years ago, my AS started attacking my heart and intestinal track. I’m also going to be having my knees and one hip replaced and a possible shoulder replacement in the near future. Hearing stories like your sons gives me hope. Thank you for sharing.

Hey there! As someone nearing 70 and staying fit, I've dealt with chronic back pain my entire life. Pain killers, steroids and surgery aren't the way to go - IMO. Everything you need to know is on KZbin in some form or another - do it all. There is no single stand along answer or solution. Stretching, including Yoga, chiropractic sessions, massages, and regular icing have made a significant difference for me. Investing in quality devices helps - buy them all! A good massage chair (Panasonic or OHCO, not "cost co." junk) can also work wonders. There was a time about 3 years ago when I was like you are now. I've spent around 2 hours a day for 3 weeks in a massage chair, and it got me moving again. Do not let this bring you down!

Congratulations on breaking your record, Yawt Yawt! Feel better soon!

chiropractic practice has been proven to be quackery. I'm glad you got relief, but the placebo effect is a real thing. there's no such thing as "popping" ligaments and bone structure into a new position. the x-ray technique used by chiropractors is a well-known tactic to convince people they have problems that don't actually exist in the medical field. for example, one of the most common "signals" to generate money is to take a picture of your neck and tell you it's straight when it should be curved. this is an extremely common posture issue, which has nothing to do with your bones and is entirely based on the muscles that hold your bones in place. the only thing that corrects that is physical therapy to correct your posture and build those muscles up so they are pulling your spine in the correct direction. if your pain resurges, see an orthopedist, instead.

My wife bought me an inversion table and it has been absolutely amazing! Of course with 3 deteriorated disc, I still hurt, but nowhere near as bad as I used to. Talk to your wife about possibly making a little spot in the house or garage for one, and use it daily! You will be amazed at the difference it makes in the back. It stretches out those disc so they don’t become compressed. I would suggest buying a “Teeter” brand, they’re the original and are built to last.

Thank you Heavenly Father for healing David's back, in the name of his son Jesus Christ. Amen!

No way Jesus was that cocky to call himself the literal son of God. Even he actually was. Doubt he wouldve brought it up.

Amen. Snitox, you’ve never read the Bible huh?

@@drewandcharlie7583 Gospel of John, chapter 10, verse 36: "Why do you call it blasphemy when I say, 'I am the Son of God'? After all, the Father set me apart and sent me into the world" This is like twice cockier than just calling himself son of God

David, I’ve been a bad back myself for 20+ years. Just watching you, you need to learn a few tricks buddy no, I don’t know how many bags you threw in the back of the truck and how many maybe you dumped out but if you only had a few bags in the truck. You should’ve loaded them to the back so you wouldn’t have to climb up in there on the tailgate open them up and dump some in a 5 gallon bucket and bucket it in there a little time you’re killing yourself. But good for you man so much pain. I know what you’re going through. You still keep cranking out the videos and then wild hog catches. Keep it up buddy and take care.

@ David Ellis I was just wondering what happens to the smaller piglets that are in the cage with the larger hogs

3:18 I feel for you. I’m a 68-year-old woman and I became the silly disabled legally through the law and all that crap that you have to go through September 1999 two years prior my back started hurting I was a vet tag and I carried big animals and I wrestled other animals, but I was a labor type person not smart enough to be the vet, but I could handle the animals and they seem to like me. I think too much wrestling with them on the back all that kind of stuff you do when you do labor and labor and I started babysitting when I was 12. Any other odd job I could get is a bus girl all different types of jobs like that are made in a hotel where you on the type of person I when I do something I do it right need to be scrubbed. I get down on my hands and knees and scrub them, so just wear and tear and back but nothing helped so I’ll be on a regiment of painkillers and I’ll that type of thing is medication pain medication time is you set up a schedule and you take it if they say take it three times a day then you take it three times a day exactly at exact same time every single day you don’t take it when the pain is the worst you’ve ever felt because it won’t work you have to realize that you’re not gonna be paying free no way there’s no such thing as pain-free. If you want to be pain-free then you get a medication that’ll knock you out that’s where you get druggies and I’m no druggie so I take my medicine 8 AM between 3 and 4 PM 8 PM and then I take my nighttime painkillers sometime after 10 between 10 and 12. I have medication in my system so that I don’t get these sharp attacks. I do every once in a while still depending on the activity that I’ve done in the previous 24 hours all that stuff unfortunately we get those attacks mine is that my age I live in Southern California and my addicted to Disneyland. First time I went my dad was in the military wicked just gotten back from living in Japan for four years. I was a month old yes I was born in Japan and my sister is seven years older than me in July, I was born in June so in July when we got back to the states and moved to Riverside in Southern California, we went to Disneyland and been open from a year. It’s anniversary is July 17 all the time just got back from two and I have an electric scooter and I take my medication, but people don’t realize gravity I’m laying on my right side hardly any pain how many times I get up and down because the gravity is not pushing my head down my lower back pain I mean, if I could cut right across the top of my body setting up on my scooter and I don’t like Dan. There’s nerve damage down there around and sitting on some cushions can press against some nerves sometimes just on my right side with my legs slightly. I’m OK I know that sounds funny but sometimes that’s what you have to do and you’ve gotta think of God and remember try to be happy to take deep breaths lay on your most comfortable side if that’s your left side line so when you get home today, I know you got a lot to do you just take a couple of deep breaths drink your drink minus Diet Coke, and some chocolate do you wanna do you wanna watch your son play football more power go go go and love every minute of it and then when you get home do not even if you put the corn out do not drop a cage take a hot bath or you prefer a shower I find it hot bath not only and I mean hot help your lower back but it also helps your feet get older. Your ankles seem to swell no matter what gotta wear those compression socks. Don’t get too tight just lay down. Don’t have medication maybe take a nap. Good luck God will give you the.

Just happened on your videos, amazed at the amount of wild hogs your catching. Glad to know that the hogs go to feed families and not just dumbed at a landfill.

Good chiropractic care has kept me from a life if extreme pain so keep the care up. I have arthritis in the neck and 2 cracked vertebrae and I know what you are going thru. L5 vert is what people have trouble with and the sciatic nerve. My injuries were in my 50s and I still have issues sometimes with my L5 out of place and pulling on muscles. I go once a month as a maintenance kind of thing and get adjusted. I'm 72 and can walk and do most anything so I am thankful for that

Keep reading the Word of God! You’re a good man, David! Hurt your back and still went to see your boy’s ball game. I’ve been dealing with back pain and pain from my psychiatric🤣 (sciatic) nerve for over 25 years. It’s no joke and I feel your pain.

I've had 4 bones sawed off & 5 disks removed from my lumbar. I lock now occasionally or get a nerve pinched preventing regular movement walking, sleeping or getting up from various positions. My spine is basically crushing itself. I declined the operation on the thoracic & cervical sections. I feel your pain. Take care of this while you still can.

Yawt 3 back surgery & 1 neck surgery ,tried implant no go! Still not much feeling in my legs. But i recommend acupuncture! No longer in pain& minimal pain meds! The steriod injections helped early on for 3-4 at a time. Then that stopped working!
