AYYYee Scoliosis fighter here lol - once I started doing heavier weight training, like deadlifts and squats, I noticed a difference in how I stood! I have like a sideways S in my back but when I looked it up, weight training is known to help scoliosis!

OMG scoliosis girly here… swear on my life used to be in severe pain every day, had to have a full spinal fusion, was on a ton of pain killers for years until I started regular acupuncture! Can’t stress enough how much it has helped! I have not taken and pain meds in over 5 years!! The only catch is you have to go regularly… at least once a month!

I’m a nail tech and for the nails it’s the acrylic liquid (monomer) that can contain mma which is the stuff you don’t want! It sucks because the only way you can really tell what it is is when we you soak off your nails. The good stuff (EMA) will flake off super easy where the bad stuff (MMA) is sticky and does not soak off well. And the breaking nails painfully is a sign of mma for sure. Be careful because places will lie and tell you there is no mma because they won’t admit they’re doing something wrong or honestly may not be educated on the subject. Watch out for places that are super cheap it’s usually for a reason!!

I don’t know if this is an option in Arizona. But I never have done acrylic again after I discovered UV gel nails. They are similar to acrylic style and you can do tips at well but last so much longer on me and never cracked down the middle like you described. I hope you okay and finger heals fast! ✨

Hey girl, I'm a pt here. With your scoliosis focus more on back (pull days) over push days. E.g face pulls, rows, anything to help bring back your shoulders. Also be aware of your posture when seated most people tend to slouch and not realise it.

I would recommend getting UV gel on top of your tips instead of acrylic. uv gel is healthier. A little more pricey but it’s worth it! Hope this helps

whenever you’re getting your nails soaked off look at the texture. if it’s gummy and stringy that illegal mma powder. if it soaks off in a flaky texture (still wet & soft) then you’re good. gel polish or top coat can be gummy just not acrylic

fellow scoliosis girl here!! physical therapy is recommended but also like someone else said exercise and movement is good because it builds stability and helps build the muscles around your spine aka less stress. core exercises are keeeeyyyyyy.. the stronger your core is the less your back hurts and there are videos on youtube for specific ones for back pain that are good!
