the coastal village could be slightly raised so their houses don't get damaged if the tide rises or if there's a storm that would raise the water levels

videos of tidying up and doing small chores is great! a good balance of both of course is ideal, but the going back and getting a reminder of a build you did a bit ago + giving it a bit more life with small touches is great!

you could add two statues like in LOTR so as a boat enters the river its like the entry way. and the small town can be above the cliffs or down on the coast

Yes. I suggested as such on the video where he dug the cliffs, but I will like everyone making the same suggestion because that would be awesome

As a disabled individual with way too much time on my hands: I literally don't care how monotonous the activity is, I get so much joy out of just you as a person sharing your lil block world with us, I will accept any and all content as long as it's got that Fwhip-ishness you bring to the table 💜

I really enjoy you doing all the little projects. As much as I love huge projects or "central" projects for a video (or a few), it's nice to have some side objectives too - just small things that flesh out the world a bit more, filling in gaps to make things feel just that bit more alive.

The nether hub is starting to look like the ocean monument, which I absolutely love. You can also do a central high raise dome, with larger windows you can flow through. You'll prolly bump into it often, but we loved when you bumped while entering the villager trader

I personaly like when you "take a break" from the main project to work on something small. Even if it was recorded out of order, it gives a second to breath from the constanly moving main goal.

A partly underwater village could be really cool. Thinking of Venice or some of the Greek islands for inspo. Almost like as water levels rose, the villagers just kept pushing inland and abandoning or repurposing the sunken buildings.

An Opera House could be nice as an entertainment building. Even though it might not fit in capital, it could be a decent building for the airship in the future. A 1900 model cinema theatre would also work but it might be too modern for the world you are creating. Also Love u fwhip. Your videos are a ton of fun to watch.

I really enjoyed the way ep 50 went. It was nice to see older parts of the world without it being a full tour. I also really like seeing that I'm not the only one who moves on before finishing all of the little things that aren't "required"

I've wanted to see you fill out the world with lots more roads and small houses. Most of your current roads are main roads between larger builds/cities. The county side could be filled with wagon trails and shacks. Maybe do a shack and a field every episode!

So many build ideas! If you're going to keep expanding the Nether hub and add more ice roads, maybe it is an idea to make an ice farm. Perhaps not the most useful farm (you can just as easily get ice from an iceberg biome), but it is another good 'excuse' for a new build idea. Maybe you can bring this over to a snowy biome, where you could make a small winter village. You could take some inspiration from Skyrim? Just tossing out suggestions :P

With the rivers cliffside being so high you can add a bridge that would still have clearance from any boats traveling through, and the other side could be a road to future builds in the area

@9:00, the cliff face wall you worked on could always also be similar to - in the first book of the Wheel of Time series, The Eye of the World - the main protagonist sailed on a boat next to some statues carved into the cliff face on either side of the river showing a bunch of people of importance to people in ages past.

one thing you could do for “tidying” up is maybe having 1 episode out of every 10, like 58,68,etc being dedicated to the smaller things that you’re finishing from the previous 10

So, I understand that realism isn't the main focus and I appreciate that, but for the coastal village that you considered as a pitstop for some of the larger ships would be rather wealthy compared to some other villages. This is primarily because it *is* a pit stop for the larger ships that can't fit down the channel (either due to size or their keel being too deep). This is why, in real life, Seattle is a far larger city than Olympia, the capital of the state. It's due to it's closer positioning to the ocean, and also due to the deeper waters around the area! Just something to consider! Also, it could allow for some inter-village rivalries in whichever way you wish to express in your world. That village could be very proud of their own ocean-based produce and the like, and the main city can have the bounty of the land around it as their main exports.

Hi fwhip you mentioned in your earlier video that you wanted ideas for building in the nether and I thought sense the nether is a hellish replica of the overworld you should make a nether city or settlement that mimics your city/settlement in the overworld. I also love the idea of the world tree’s roots extending into the nether.

One of my favorite building ideas I’ve had for my world was to build a city that gets separated to two parts, an under city where the lower class lives and an upper city where the richer live (the upper city would be on higher grounds like a hill) and so the upper city would be fancy and elegant with more expensive materials where as the under city would be out of dark rocks that aren’t that expensive and the upper city would also have a palace where the royal family lives. It would basically be the same city with the same name but it would be divided into two

Underground fighter pit instead of a coliseum, maybe a more shady business down in the sewers/shady underground community area that filled with the more undesirables of the city, as every city unfortunately has a slums/poorer area.

An idea for the super-future port town could be to make it sort of Mediterranean themed, like Greece or Cyprus with light stone houses & streets with water pools & flowerbeds all over. Could offer a new build style to keep you interested & videos as well. Could put some similar houses in the coastal village too, as if there is a blend of styles between the Mediterranean Port town & main European medieval city.

Been really curious about your opinion on the influence paradox that comes from Minecraft KZbin. I personally find your builds inspiring because I know you’re able to put a lot of time into the game since it’s your job. But I have heard a common rhetoric along the line of “seeing all these giant builds makes it intimidating to pick up the game and try to content with all these pro builders.” I don’t see Minecraft as a game that’s meant to be played any particular way, but I do see a lot of people comparing themselves to KZbinrs and getting discouraged. Been a huge fan of your builds for a while now, it’s been amazing watching your last 2 hardcore worlds from day 1. Best of luck moving forward
