You see, I am 11 years old. And I love dogs. Like love them. And my mom has this friend named Sarah, and she is a breeder like you. I go to her house and help her with her litters and it’s so much fun for me. And watching you, having 6 dogs and being a breeder makes me so happy. I have 2 dogs one golden retriever and one Goldendoodle. The golden retriever is named Sugar, and Sugar gave birth to the Goldendoodle (Honey). After sugar gave birth to 9 puppies, we decided to keep one. And when I grow up, I wanna be just like you and Sarah. I wanna have more than 4 dogs, and be a breeder. So thank you so much. I feel very inspired.

We lost on to I think fading puppy syndrome and it was so heartbreaking. Thank you for caring so much for your pups and for the great tips on adding the water to their food to enhance the flavors!

Oh goodness, I can absolutely relate! I've got 4 big dogs myself and while it's not 6, it may as well be! 😂 They are EXACTLY like children, needing routine and structure or things get super chaotic. Sometimes I get overwhelmed but the love I have for them is as if they were my biological children so of course you make allowances for things you wouldn't normally make allowances for.. (like owning so many dogs lol) This was a great video, proving it's possible to have many (big!) dogs and still be able to give them the love, care and devotion they need to stay happy and healthy. How long can you leave out the dry kibble with water? I have a slow somewhat fussy eater (zero food motivation). Food (eg sardines) is served in a separate bowl, if it is not eaten in 4-8 hrs (while we are at work) it is removed and given to our chickens. Kibble stays out all the time. Some days the kibble all gets eaten other days it remains there for 2-3 days. I do not think she hates the food, she is just not motivated by food. For example, chicken is her favorite but after our cats left her a rabbit they had caught to eat (My kids told me after it had occurred) she did not eat for 2 days, not even cooked chicken meat.

4:02 Okay so I currently don’t have a dog but my childhood dog (who was a long haired chihuahua named Sandy) did a similar thing when he was around. He loves food and every time it’s time for his dinner we had to put him in another room so he wouldn’t eat our other pets food (at the time besides him we also had a cat who is a black kitty with green eyes named Fluffy who was our grandparents cat) so we had to separate them for meal times so I can relate xD

This is a wonderful video but please keep in mind that adding water to kibble and exercising your dogs after a meal will highly increase your dog's chance of getting bloat. Bloat is brutal and most of the time, fatal. Please look it up. Simple changes can save a dog's life.
