My O gauge train layout rebuild

It’s one of those ‘to each his own’ choices for tubular/Fast Track. Personally I’m not much of a fan of Fast Track, but that’s just me. For what it costs you can buy Gargraves or the like for more or less the same money and it looks a lot nicer and is a lot quieter. But I also understand you already had a bunch of Fast Track handy. It’s like for me I have a shelf layout (I have a bunch of short videos on Facebook on most of the train pages), I built it just so I could run my junk. I used O-27 track that I have tons of but for my curves I used Marx 34” curves. But whenever I build a new more traditional layout, I like the old style dealer display look, so I’m probably going to buy all new Menards O gauge track and use at least 54” curves. I like tubular myself because it runs a little quieter and I’m more used to making connections and insulated track sections with it. Regardless very nice job and your layout looks great!

Hi Charlie! Nice video. Looks like you're doing some good work. Check at the layout I put together in my basement using Fastrack and making up a track plan that includes a modified dog-bone in the inner loop, 3 bridges, and an industrial section with a crossover into 3 sidings! The best part: adding the waterway in the center to give the layout more length, add levels and interest to the build. It might give you some additional ideas for your layout.
