Requiring high school PLUS college transcripts is weird. You can't have a bachelor's from college without graduating high school first.

Thanks for the video and hope when you finish your packet you get picked up. I'm in college right now and want to go OCS when I'm done. What is this other test other then the ASVAB that you briefly talked about?? What is the main difference between the two? Good luck!

Nicholas Muns thanks man, im hoping for the best and looking forward to the process being over! The main difference between the picat and the avsab is the time you have to take the test. Picat is untimed, while the asvab takes around 3 hrs to finish. Picat can only be taken once, while the asvab can be taken however many times you’d like. You can choose to take both tests but the picat has to be taken first or you won’t be able to take it at all.

Hey man thanks for the video. I'm going through process now. Confirming my picat o Wednesday and doing the health examination on Thursday. My boards wont be until november though. Was wondering if you got in ? Any advice on questions they ask during boards? What was your APFT score?

Juan Amaral yes I did and i have commissioned as a 2LT. I have a video that talks about my experience at the board interview; you should check it out. My pt score was a 284 coming in.

How did you prove your community service hours from years ago?

Tbh they dont dig deep to see how credible your community service experience is so u dont necessarily have to “prove it”. I would recommend mentioning your community service ventures in your written character statement or a little bit during your board interview. (Or both🤷🏾‍♂️)

Ok so I took the OAR test my first score was a 39 and I was told I could get a waiver for supply.. however I scored lower my 2nd try now i only have 1 more try any tips?

I’m worried about high school GPA. I had a 2.8 in high school, but had a 3.8 in college. Will HS be a factor?

No, they just ask you for your HS diploma

Only GPA they ask about is College.

johnny They will look at your gpa and prefer for it to be in the 3s or higher.

For the Army not so much, for the Navy it matters A LOT. Especially certain communities, SWO requires 2.8+ (No chance unless over 3.0+) and things like intel require 3.0 (No chance unless 3.4+). Also certain jobs REQUIRE a certain degree. The NAVY only really wants STEM degrees unless you are going SNA or NFO (Pilot or Navigator) I went through both army and Navy OCS processes, in the Army you also don't get to pick a job, you 'compete' for it in OCS. In the Navy you directly apply for what job you want and that get job guaranteed if you get accepted (Pro-Rec Y)

Jacob Givens I would say go for it if it is really something you can see yourself doing. I would start prepping for the navy aviation test which is the ASTB i believe. Talk to a navy recruiter and they’ll definitely provide you with more info. Good luck!

mike barnes depends on how fast you would like to get started working upon graduation. Process has taken me around a year.
