Even as a dark lord of the Sith, I have my opinions on the generations Gen 1: First one I played. It’s ok, but not my favorite Gen 2: My least favorite (minus Tyranitar) Gen 3: Pretty good, but SO MUCH DAMN WATER! (and don’t even get me started on the sand in the desert...) Gen 4: My favorite, but didn’t like the rock climbing HM move (Empoleon is amazing, otherwise, you’re getting Force choked) Gen 5: Interesting, but had a few hiccups with certain Pokémon. Overall, great! Gen 6: Awesome! Loved the new 3D mechanics. Also where I caught my first shiny without trying! Gen 7: Second favorite. Trials were a little weird because I was so used to gyms, but it was interesting as time went on. The number one reason it’s in a close second place is because NO MORE HM’S!!! PRAISE LORD HELIX!!!
