I love Geodude’s for one reason only: it was my first (and still only) main series shiny I ever encountered (Let’s Go Eevee) after like, a decade of playing Pokémon and literally tens of thousands of encounters (never hunted), so when I was going back into Rock Tunnel to grind, the first Pokémon I saw was a random shiny Geodude! I FLIP THE HELL OUT, catch it (Great Ball, didn’t have access to Ultra Balls yet, let alone the Master Ball), flip out again, save, take a screenshot, and scream about it to the jealous expressions of my brother and cousins. Then I remember I can’t put it on my team because it’s a damn trade evolution, but Geodude and its evolutions will always have a special place in my heart.

Okay...I have a bit of a soft spot for Bibarel's shiny. It was my first Shiny Pokemon I ever caught, (No, the Red Gyarados in Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, and SoulSilver doesn't count) I caught when I was much younger, and at the time, I didn't know what Shiny Pokemon were. Then I found out that it a Shiny so many years later. That made me appreciate Bibarel's shiny so much more. That's why I'm a bit of a sucker for Bibarel's shiny. I caught it in Pearl, and I never forget the day I caught it.

I think Clefairy/Clefable is one of the more subtle shiny changes I like. I like how it goes a lighter tint of pink combined with the green tip ears. It makes it seem more bright and extraterrestrial like.
