It is lovely to see favourite friends unite. I was born and raised in Yorkshire England, my maternal and paternal ancestors came from France centuries ago. I was fortunate to visit many regions of France in the past. I visited Clos Luce decades ago now, so it was really great to see it again. I also watched an open air play based on the history of chateau d'Amboise, in the grounds of the chateau, where the events had taken place. Leonardo was a genius and one of my favourite people in history. English, French, Italian and Egyptian histories are fascinating, although unfortunately there was never enough time to study everything in depth. Your knowledge of Egyptian history is incredible Curtis

Amboise is gorgeous, but after a few days I came down with whooping cough! and spent days in bed just crawling to the shop for some bread and tomatoes every second day. That was miserable. But the weekly market along the bank of the river is the longest I have ever seen. In the gardens of Clos-Lucé are full sized constructions of Leonardo’s designs for locks, armoured cars, weapons, etc.

i have a few curious thoughts about egyptian burial . If your not king or queen or prince ect. Id like to know if you were servant or wife, were you in pryamid when they died or later after your death. And what about commoners. where were they buried.? Anything on the finding of hands. Were those enemies released after their hands were cut off. or just killed and hands still removed.
