Lost my mom at 87 in Jan 2024. Dad in 08. Selfishly I wish they were both still here. Love ya Lewis.

Same here lost mom in Jan 2024 she was 87 and lost Dad in 2014 he was 82. Miss them both.

My Grandma quit smoking at 82...she lived to 100. Black coffee, BLT sandwich, and brandy were what she ate and drank til the end.

My dad died at 89. While in his last visits to the hospital, lying in bed getting some blood work...oh, I would say about a year before he had the stroke that finally did him in, well, as I was saying, he was lying in bed. There were probably five or six of us in the room. Y'know, talking to him. Asking him if he needed anything. And all that kind of soft kind stuff. Well anywho...there was a lull of chatter n the room. My dad, squeaked out a "silent but deadly" one.....geeez....he was 88....imagine one of those at 100!!!!

Eh, as an almost obligate carnivore who started dating a vegetarian: if quinoa tastes bad then you didn't prepare it correctly haha 1 cup quinoa, 1 3/4 cups water, some salt, butter in the instant pot for 2 minutes and you're golden
