I’m getting ready for my first home birth next month! This is my third baby. First was born via c section, my second was a hospital birth vbac, and now I’m praying my third will be a successful homebirth!

@@shannonbarry6520 when are you due? I’m almost 38 weeks pregnant. I thought I would’ve had the baby this weekend because of all my symptoms but I guess not!

@@UOlover13 I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow! I'm in the same boat! I've spent the last week sure he was about to come but nothing ever came of it. When are you due?

I highly recommend regular exercise (especially squats, barre, prenatal yoga, and/or Spinning Babies) and bodywork to get baby into the proper position to shorten and ease labor. This pregnancy, I also saw a PT (if you're in Colorado, Lynn Schulte Leech is AhhhMAZING!), a chiropractor, AND a masseuse--all trained in prenatal care. Baby was out in less than three hours of labor (no time for a birthing tub over here)! Also, get a doula! If cost is an issue, you can get a trainee for free (or really cheap) though DONA.

Home births are the best, I had two, including my little guy with Down Syndrome, I didn’t know about his diagnosis though but thankfully he was healthy and we had no complications… thank you for sharing…

What a sweet birth ❤️ I wish I had known all these things when I was pregnant. I had two Caesarians and though my girls are wonderfully fine now (14 & 17), I think all the trama from the births would have helped us all into this new phase of life much better❤️

so encouraging to know you can have consecutive home births. I had a dreamy 4 hour home birth with my first baby, now pregnant with my second, I have some off fears about somehow it being “too good to be true” since I’ve had friends who had to have emergency intervention with second or third babies.
@monica94503 жыл бұрын
I doubt that's the norm, especially with second babies. They usually get consecutively easier. Though, I've definitely heard the third one can be a wild card!

@@monica9450 well if genetics have anything to do with it, my moms births got easier and easier as she went.

Great video! Congratulations on your 4th baby! Cant wait to hear about this one =) Off the subject, but I love your bracelet. Knowing you, it seems you would be wearing it for a purpose? And where do you get your jewelry?

Thank you! Haha, you are right! The bracelet is supposed to neutralize wireless technology and its affects on the body: (use coupon code BUMBLEBEE15 for 15% off!) funkybirdieamber.com

Wow, I’m pretty impressed by your lifestyle. I’m new here, came here interested in tallow products… A little bit off topic, but can you please tell me, is it fine to use another kind of tallow? Like duck, sheep… And also, congrats, wish you and your baby lots of happiness, joy and health💚

Thank you! Yes, absolutely! Deer, bear, goat, and all kinds of tallow are great :)

How wonderful you had a great experience! Can you make a video specifically on the body work topic please? I'm wondering how I find that in my area "body work" seems like it would bring up the wrong things on Google 🤣

Lol! Great question. I will try to do that, thank you! It is also called cranio sacral therapy :)

Thank you so much for sharing this! I’m currently reading Ina May Gaskin’s childbirth book and both of you have made me feel very empowered about my upcoming delivery. I was wondering, do you have any suggestions for pacifiers? We began our WAPF journey after the birth of my last baby (now age 5) so I’m a little lost when it comes to newborn/small baby options. Maybe you could do a video on clean baby products? ☺️ Thanks again for everything you share with us!
@bumblebeeapothecary3 жыл бұрын
I love Ina May Gaskin's book, too! None of my babies have liked pacifiers, so I don't have a lot to share there, except I usually end up nursing in place of a pacifier, lol. I do know you can get natural rubber ones. I do have a new baby video coming up soon, plus I have this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mn6xm4mfnZqdndk

craniosacral therapy, I thought this was all about the skull/head or cranium? is that true? and what type of chiropractor? I've heard theres a special type of adjustment expecting mothers need

Wow you are my hero. I had an extremely long birth (3 days) i had to get an epidural to sleep so my body could relax and then 3 hours pushing (but I didn’t feel the urge to push? Not sure if it has to do with the epidural or if ) i’m definitely going to follow what you did so I don’t have as bad of an experience. Thank you
