I made a beauty checklist a few days ago ahaha, mine was aimed at what to check before going out. It included: - clean teeth - clean nails - clean skin (not necessarily clear but cleaned) - sun protection - check outfit for stains, holes, bad fit - fill your water bottle - fix your hairstyle - deodorant & perfume Hope this can help some of you ahah, I'm trying to get out of my tomboyish lifestyle

Castor oil has worked wonders for my eyelashes. When I was in junior high I applied WAY too much mascara and over curled them with eyelash curlers, and then would pull out my eyelashes when trying to remove the mascara. Before I started wearing makeup, my eyelashes were so long but I ruined them. They fell out and got shorter, and now they’re not as long as they used to be but they have recovered immensely after I decided to stop wearing makeup. Applying castor oil to my eyelashes every night has thickened them and they’re longer! It’s amazing!!

I've been scanning KZbin all week for a channel on being a wholesome woman and embracing femininity! I notice a lot of channels on KZbin focus more on wearing expensive brands, over doing the makeup and how to get men to fall at your feet. I really think God lead me to your channel . Your content is very well rounded and practical. I feel that your advice focuses on taking care of yourself in a way that is practical, modest and attainable despite which financial bracket you fall under. After watching a few of your videos I realize that I am definitely on the right track but, you give so much insight on things that I can work on to improve my confidence and self-esteem. Being fair and blonde myself I wish I’d spent more time staying out of the sun. I never sunbathed but I also never bothered to cover up with large hats and long sleeves etc. I always used SPF but this doesn’t stop freckles/melanin production. It’s taken years to get my skin to look brighter and clearer. I’ve swung from using high end , drugstore, green or medical grade skin products over the decades but keeping it simple is working for me now. I use small amounts of Botox (not filler though) twice a year which helps a lot at my age.

I am so glad I found this channel; I have ben on a journey to connect with my femininity for years! I always wanted to be more feminine, but where I come from, it is looked down on to be too feminine, or make too much of an effort. And I have always been the 'smart'/nerdy/akward one as a child and teen; femininity have never been natural, and I have never been treated as someone attractive. But I sometimes wonder if these these things are what lead to the disconnect with my femininity, and made me move even further away from it. I am slowly learning more grooming and social skills, but this channel seem to have a goldmine of advice on femininity! Femininity is very much a skill to be facilitated, though people treat as something you either have or don't have. Love that there is a whole community of women who thinks otherwise, and actually value femininity! :)

You are such a princess. Beautiful inside and out. Thank you so much for such an informative video. Lately, I have been trying to understand and love self care and embracing my femininity. So I found through some trial and error ways to ease into skincare, makeup, body care and self care. For skincare, DON’T EVER exfoliate more than 1-3 a week depending on your climate, area and season. This also goes for face masking. Because it can cause dehydrated skin from stripping excess oils. I have normal teenage skin 🙄 which is awful with hormone breakouts on the regular. I noticed a difference when I switched to natural products. For my skincare (which can work for any skin type with customizations for you and your lifestyle) Morning: Raw African black soap from raw skin co. 11/10 would recommend. Morning Spray (which I make myself) includes rose oil diluted with water For moisturizer I use the simple brand with an SPF 15. (I would recommend for people with oily skin because it isn’t oily) Night: Black Soap (Exfoliate if it’s an exfoliation day with a spin brush and Dr. Teals pink Himalayan salt scrub) Night Spray (again made by me) with tea tree oil and lavender diluted with water. I then use Thayer’s rose petal witch hazel as a toner. It’s currently my favorite toner of all time. Then for moisturizer I use Shea butter from Raw skin Co. because it gets rid of pimple/acne scars. I also changed my diet to be healthier but, that doesn’t to restricting what you eat just choosing a healthier option. I also cut out red meat and most diary. With added exercise. For my eyelash, I would swear my life on castor oil and petroleum jelly. You just have to be careful that you don’t clog your eyelash hair follicle with the petroleum jelly. For makeup, I used to cake my face. But, instead I just now sleep longer and have tried to go to bed one hour earlier than usual. All I do now is fill in my eyebrows because it gives my face more definition, while still be feminine. For body care I just try to shower every night and apply deodorant. I love wearing a subtle perfume, that isn’t too overbearing. I would recommend essential oils because they’re just more natural and don’t smell over-the-top. For self care, just take time for you and what you want to enjoy. Just because someone else does something that they consider self care doesn’t mean it works for you. Just do whatever you want to do that helps you unwind and relax. We are always learning and sometimes it’s just good to be reminded of these things. If anyone has any tips for me and anyone else feel free to share and if anyone has any questions about my comment feel free to please share. ❤️

betsy murphy can you tell me what do you like to eat everyday because I'm quitting dairies and I'm struggling
@betsymurphy64625 жыл бұрын
Personally, I’m lactose intolerant so my struggle with not eating diary might be different from your experience. I do eat some diary but, try to avoid it as much as possible. Here’s what I try to eat in a day. In the morning I eat a granola bar and drink some apple juice. For lunch I either eat a baby spinach salad with chicken and a bit of Italian dressing. Most times I do add a little cheese but, it’s not necessary. For a snack I grab a protein or fiber bar. Finally for dinner, I’ll eat chicken or sandwich or something with carbs to fill me up from the day. I really hope this was helpful. Sometimes you just have to let yourself splurge on diary like ice cream. You just can’t have good ice cream that isn’t diary free (in my experience). Craving become easier with time. YOU GOT THIS!!!! I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!❤️

I’m currently in aesthetician school, and an amazing tool that I’ve purchased on Amazon for around $40, is a Wood’s black-light lamp for skin analysis. With it, you can see every issue on your skin, and can then treat those issues accordingly. However, I wouldn’t recommend using this tool if you are prone to excessively picking at, or obsessing over your skin (which can be very damaging). Also, please seek guidance from an aesthetician near you (if you’re on a budget, search for a nearby beauty school, because they will typically offer high-quality services, at very low prices). Good luck, girlies!🤗

Clean hair tip: To check if my hair is residue free during the shower after shampooing I pull gently on my hair closest to the head to check if I can hear a squeak. The squeaking means I have gotten all of the build-up and shampoo out. I check my hair all over, if I don't hear the squeaking I rinse again gently. I got this tip from a hairdresser once and it works wonders. My hair feels clean and light afterwords when air dried.

After you had your cup of coffee, In a bowel you add to the coffee: - a teaspoon of tumiric and cinnamon powder. -Almond oil - olive oil - A little bit of dead sea salt. - if you want, i like to add a few drops of lavender essential oil for the smell. I do this once a week, and everytime i come out of the shower my skin feels softer then a feather. And for my hair i like to put coconut oil once every few days, leave it for an hour then wash it off. Super soft and not frizzy hair 😍

I love this video! Trying to think of a not-creepy way to introduce these ideas to girls in the youth group at church. I wish I had had a video like this when I hit puberty!

I’d start with the least ‘touchy’ topic of hair care. Talk to them and demonstrate things. -Gentle detangling, moisturizing, protective styles (braids) If the group is small and well behaved, you could make satin pillowcases and scrunches as crafts to take home and use. That sounds fun. If that goes well you could cover other topics another time.

I’ve been washing my face with dove soap (original) for years now and it’s better than any expensive face wash I used in the past. It’s cheap and a lot of dermatologists recommend it because it’s gentle on your skin and really cleans well. Just a tip for those on a budget 😉

The Birch Tree I am 41 and the last time I went to a dermatologist he asked me what I cleansed with because my skin was so incredible. I laughed and said “ just dove soap!”

Jaime Zuniga Haha! That’s awesome 😁! I really like it, but I wish they made a fragrance free version, then it would be perfect 😉.

I just did a KZbin video for my cosmetics. Haha! I decided to remove cosmetics that have toxic ingredients in them. Because I learned that certain ingredients can affect your hormones and fertility! So for body lotion I use the lotion from 100% Pure. I also use Aleavia Shower Gel. I’ve noticed a HUGE difference with just these two products alone. My skin is smoother and more even toned. Not to mention the shower gel doesn’t leave soap scum in the shower!!!!!! So I do t have to scrub as much every week! Haha. So that’s a house keeping hack too
