For those of us who aren’t religious, I think setting aside “quiet time” is still super important. Just spending time in the morning reading a book or meditating before you head out into the crazy world can make a huge impact. 👍🏻✨

Hi Allison! My name is Kristin and I'm a 31 year old from West Virginia. I used to be a teacher and a runner and was training for my first half marathon but life took a few turns and I was hit by a car 5 years ago which resulted in losing my right leg above the knee. I get around on crutches and try to "just keep swimming" as Dory would say ;) I'm SO happy I found your channel and your personality is a breath of fresh air and helps me to stay positive. This video is encouraging me to dig deeper into the word. I just got baptized this year and my heart is so on fire for the lord now. I know I need to have a routine like this so thank you for the inspiration. I don't understand why things happened in my life the way they did but I can still be positive and even though I can't walk on 2 feet, I can still walk by faith. I hope we can be friends and stay in touch

I love this I’m reading the Bible for the first time and I feel like I put a lot of pressure on myself to sit and take notes and read as much as I can but when you said it was only about 30 min you spend makes me feel so much better because I feel like your emphasizing that you do it every day and in the morning so you can start your day right. Which is so true because no matter how much one reads the Bible if you Arnt living a godly life what’s the point.

My quiet times are similar except I add a practical at the end to whatever I've learnt from a scripture that stands out to me. We should do what the Bible says and practicals help me live out the bible. I love your video. It inspires me to have a cozy quiet time in the mornings.

Hi Allison I find that you do so much activities in studying God's Word. I have found for myself that i need to study just 1 (one) verse at a time. I read it daily until it sinks in. God has really shown me quite a few revelations this way. Also it has caused me to learn more of God and to really understand Him and His ways. One verse at time

Hi Allison! I just came across your channel and I've loved it so far! I was going to mention the Verses app before I realized you did. I absolutely love it and try to tell everyone about it. I've never been really faithful to commit Scripture to memory but it has been an immensely helpful tool for me. I actually try to memorize full chapters or longer passages and it's really cool to use the "reorder" game as well as go through the levels on the "word bank" until I'm really familiar with it. I'm so grateful for that app!

Hey Allison! Absolutely love this video I’m a little late lol... I have a little tip for you when it comes to memorizing scripture or meditating on the word. The Hebrew word for “meditate” is murmur so speaking out loud, the bible says the power of life and death is on our tongue and how faith comes by hearing so when reading scripture say it out loud and keep repeating it till it comes to your mind and within your heart this has helped me so much with meditating on the word of God and prayer for the sword of the spirit is the word of God. It’s so important to memorize scripture to I thought I would give u that tip hope it helped🥰
