Today we are going to have a look at one of DJ Audits videos.

In this video he is unlawfuly detained so the police can get his details, and without him commiting an offence, or the officer giving him a lawful reason for the detainment they are lining themselves up for a lawsuit, and I believe that's what Dj is going to do.

Someone was flying a drone, and these two officers were completely and totally flummoxed. Had absolutely no idea what to do. One of them spent 20 minutes on the phone and still couldn't figure out what was going on. Officers, some advice: Do NOT take the detective's exam.

We have some great coppers out there. The ones who treat their uniform and the public with respect. I know a few. It's the corrupt ones I detest. The coppers who don't give a second thought about breaking the law, to keep their quota up or for a sniff of promotion. I detest them. It's got to a point where if a police officer asked me for the time of day, I would record and live stream the interaction untill I "ascertained" he/she was one of the good ones.

You can understand their concern regarding the present climate we live in. Threat levels There are five levels of threat: • low - an attack is highly unlikely • moderate - an attack is possible but not likely • substantial - an attack is likely • severe - an attack is highly likely • critical - an attack is highly likely in the near future The present threat levels at present are Substantial and since August 1960 (first published) when the threats levels were first introduced it has never been below the level of substantial, therefore at present it is the lowest threat level it has ever been. 20:50 Police cannot detain outwith an arrest except in three specific circumstance, 1) breach of the peace, 2) stop and search, and 3) when searching a property. Any other detainment is unlawful. And most definitely if the detainment is purely to ascertain someone's ID. Yardley Ski got £800 for a short detainment and the unlawful use of section 43. DJ could've claimed around the same if not more since no criminal offence was mentioned and therefore there is no excuse.

These days, they are poorly-trained, which scandalous and not really their fault. They make up for this lack by a combination of bluff and belligerence. Ultimately, the government is to blame. I was a copper for 30 years before retiring and spent much of that in training roles. I did know the law and could recite much of it verbatim, but learning in that way is regarded as old hat. In some ways, I feel sorry for them.
