I know some of us like listening and maybe multi-tasking, so take this list as a point of reference. 1. Work out in the mornings 2. Practice mindfulness 3. Prepare healthy snacks 4. Deep clean once a week 5. Learn easy and simple recipes 6. Have a go-to beauty routine 7. Make your routine enjoyable 8. Do something for yourself 9. Reflect and plan 10. Eat food you love 11. Don’t procrastinate 12. Relax in the evenings

I personally am having a hard time with this. Experienced three burnouts and boughts of depression. I am still recovering. I will take your advice.

We just woke up to a beautiful rainbow over our house and we all came out of the house to enjoy it for the 5 mins it lasted. Little things like that make you start your day in the greatest way.

I have been living a slow lifestyle for 4 years now. I love it! Sometimes, I feel like it made me lazy. There is definitely an opportunity there for me to find more about that laziness’s feeling

For me, it’s important to have a productive morning. Then, for the rest of the day I will be in a good mood. I truly appreciate the morning times so I make sure I’m prepared the night before so I’m not rushing the best day. I get my coffee grounds ready to go in my French press, get my outfit ready for the next day, and make sure I have my snacks ready for work. That way, I can truly enjoy the magical morning time with my kitties. That’s my favorite part of my day.

I completely agree, if my morning goes well then the rest of the day follows suit. If I let myself get lazy and lag through my morning it's so hard to break out of throughout the rest of the day. Getting some form of exercise first thing in the morning and having a nourishing breakfast is one of the most important parts for me.

I have a busy city life and i find these videos very calming. The videos are inspiring and gives me hope to live like this sooner than later. I have learnt to let go of things slowly and even say no to work when I need to. Long walks by the harbor every other day is keeping me grounded and satisfying. Also spending more time on Coursera to learn more skills which I enjoy learning. Life must be enjoyed in whatever little way we can, and like you said make it enjoyable and have new experiences. You have a gift for translating many of our inner thoughts in these videos. Thank you.

I agree, Society says constant productivity is good… It absolutely is stressful and leads to burn out. The past couple years I’ve been embracing slow living… I’m so much calmer and happier.🥰

This is so true! In my main job, I'm working as a nutritionist and most of my patients need besides nutritional advice, also inspiration on how to establish healthy routines in their lives, such as meditation or yoga. Also it helped me a lot to fight my chronic hip pain. Videos like these are so important. People should watch that istead of TV. Thank you!

Dear Sophie - It has been a little while since I was last able to comment and I am so looking forward to catching up on this latest video and work through the recent ones I have yet been able to watch. Congratulations on hitting yet another milestone and it warms my heart knowing that your channel is flourishing and has a growing audience. I hope this continues and that many more are able to access the value you are sharing. . Toxic productivity is fast following toxic positivity and while humans are capable of great things, we are still human, and being human means we are perfectly imperfect, a work in progress and we are all different yet we are the same. Our mental, physical and spiritual being will fluctuate according to what stage of life we are at, we live, we learn and we grow. We can still demand a standard for ourselves yet we must do this with compassion and kindness. Comparison is the thief of joy, we are all here to live our lives at the pace that works for us, as the saying goes, “A flower does not think of competing to the flower next to it. It just blooms.” - Zen Shin, we will all thrive or perish in different environments and what works for one may not work for another. . Our wellbeing which includes health and happiness is important and our time is something we can never get back. Life has become very busy for everyone, and it can be challenging to understand what is really a priority and what is not, what is really going to serve us and what isn't, and how to execute what we want and need to do in an effective and efficient way that doesn't lead to burn out. Your dog was also practising mindfulness with you, that was adorable! I adore dogs and soon I will reunite myself with my dog who's now in Romania! Cannot wait, I miss him so much! 2 years without seeing him! O.K now I'm craving watermelon! :) Maintain the house clean can be tiring, yes! Mainly if you have pets! Loved that recipe! Yummy! It's good to romanticize the daily routine, why not? That way we learn we appreciate even small things in life! Fall in love with life daily, I like that! I try to do that as well as much as I can. Slow living helps on that regard! In terms of food, well I live in Italy, I won't add anything else ha,ha! 😅 Procrastination causes me anxiety as well! So I don't procrastinate! :) You are wonderful Sophie! 💖

I really like how you live your life, I also want a slower lifestyle. Doing my PhD (sometimes I ask myself what I was thinking) and honestly think after this degree I'll slow it way down, like waay down. Your videos lower my stress levels. 😅💕

Shopie, you have got your daily routine, just right.I excersize on Monday & Friday morning. When you are on your Yoga mat, lying down close your eyes 👁️ , tap your temple's on each side of your face very gently. It will releave any stress you have,Great video!.

I've come to so look forward to all of your videos! This one was perfectly timed for me. What an inspiring living so..relaxing...i am a working mom always busy and having hard time to have a quality time to my child and its painful....watching your videos inspires me to sometimes keep slow..slow living to focus on whats my priority...thank you

Thank you for sharing. Your productivity video is the first thing I do (watch) after my morning caffeine 😂 I’m sure it will make me productive. I just bought a yoga mat and hope to do some workout at home too. I only do outdoor running and need to do those yoga like you. You are now my “real” KZbin buddy as we are doing very similar contents 😬🤫

@@Ninniii45 that's my fault. I said model when I meant mimic. There isn't anything wrong with taking inspiration off of another person's positive life choices, it's just that EVERY life lesson is put into someone's life in order to help them to learn a specific lesson and evolve past a particular point that's holding them back from transcending to the next stage of spiritual ascension. And I wouldn't suggest learning things that are outside of YOUR divine plan But hey, knowledge is knowledge, eh?
