Been there, done that. If you check my other videos you I’ll see that before the Accu’s I had 2 and tried 4 Mola Mola’s. Even though they are great amps, nothing gets to the level of detail that only class A can provide 👍🏽

Hi Multi, Some music can sound like this as well, tord Brumborg is a Norwegian Jazz saxophonist that recorded a few records for ECM (the German lable) this is one of them. It is exquisitely well recorded. its stile might sound strange for some. Yes ! But, this is not for the average. Thankx for your comment.

this cable elevation applies to every cable no matter the type of signal they carry. The objective it to prevent signal flow alterations during signal transport from source to target due to the proximity of an earth source. You can try this at home and you don't even need these fancy cable elevators use for instance some sort of foam to elevate them and keep them a way from each other as well. What you will notice is a muuuuuch better sense of space more air and more music...

Ok, so you say get the A-46? I was looking at the C-2420 preamp actually. I am unable to afford the C-2820. Accuphase is very pricey here in the US!

Hi Lucy, its not the floor that worries me, its the spiders and the ants, and having them so close to them ... these are a very expensive set of cables in case you haven´t noticed... ;) Cheers

No, what I meant was, the difference between the A-60 and the A-65 might not justify the extra cash the A-65 costs (even in second hand). I would prefer having an A-60 + C-2820 than an A-65 with a lesser model pre amp... ;) If your speakers are rely sensitive like 90 DB up you might consider the A-45 but only if your speaker are this sensitive otherwise you might feel short on SPL ;) Cheers

Read a few reviews comparing the A-60 to the A-65, the difference might not justify the extra cash the A-65 will cost. My advice is GO FOR IT !! If you could find a C-2820 to go along you will find amplification for life ;)

There is no bad material coming from Accuphase, but ... As you climb to the top models the improvements are noticeable, that is valid for any type of gear. If your speakers are that sensitive you should be Ok with the A-46 but if you can spare the extra cash go for the A-65 ;)

Hi Rolando, I cant say, but I had the chance to listen to a friends A-50V in my room, and it sounded exactly the same as my A-60, I expect the A-70 to be equally fast and with an extra 10 punchy watts... ;) Don't be mistaken by the 60W power rating announced for this amp. I saw it reach the 500W mark on the front panel digital meters ...

motorcitydeadman yes, my A-60 was also supposed to be half of the A-100's I had the chance to listen to the A-100´s and for my surprise they were nothing alike my A-60, neither the price tag ;)

i live in argentina, i have a ayon cd5s cdplayer (preamplifier included ) and conect directly to mcintosh mc-601 mono amplifers,my speakers are dynaudio c4 confidence, my question :a Accuphase A-65 is a good upgrade vs mcintosh mc-601, the a65 can drive the dynaudio c4?

Hi Rolando, I have experimented a lot with my Accupase A-60 when it comes to connect it to different sets of speakers, one thing I concluded was that this amp can really drive anything, you can even use it as a soldering machine (a high end soldering machine) :))))) Now when compared to the Mac sound I must say it is not comparable. Macs tend to sound mellow and a little laid back for my personal taste, but they do make a lovely and relaxing presentation which kind of involves you with the music. The accuphase is a lot faster than any Mac so Smoothness is not on its qualities list. Let me put it this way if you wand a relaxing and involving sound stick with the Mac, if you want a direct connection to the music go for the Accu, if you want both; you will have to spend a bit more and go for the Soulution. Check "my reference system stage 3" ;) Hope this help

Good system, but I am not sure that is real music. Probably some audiophile label pling-plong shit. Sorry :-)) I know that is a thing of personal taste. High freq are little annoying, and whole sound seems to be on nervous side.

+Mario Terzi can't share your opinion, these speakers had a great synergy with this amp. Very fast, detailed and musical. One of my best systems, but this one is pass gone I have a Soulution 700 combo with a pair of MBL 111F's ;) Cheers
