@IndigenousStrandz11 I did something that I truly regret and that was I went to the Dominican and allowed them to straighten my hair. That was the worst thing I could have done. I lost so much hair when I washed it and I believe they used chemicals in my hair. Please help with some hair tips. I’m trying not to cut my hair. Thanks in advance.

​@latreace77 Girl I'm so sorry 😢. If you believe they used chemicals you could cut it or allow it to grow out. Do you still have a curl pattern? How much hair did you use. I would say look into strengthing herbs like amla, cassia, or clay mask. Please stay encouraged you'll get through this. I experienced heat damage but not chemical damage

I have no problem growing my hair long. I cut it a November 2022…it was thigh length before I cut it. I cut it into a short bob. It’s tailbone length now. HOWEVER…over the years as I’ve gotten older, my hair has thinned. I take care of it the same way as when it was thicker. I WISH my hair was still this thick. Absolutely gorgeous! And props to you for not cutting it, I got lazy and cut mine. I’m trying to work on my thickness and being patient as it gets longer doing my hair. Welcome back!! It’s so good to see you!!! Was just checking on your channel again recently with my mother after I brought up something I remembered being said on your channel. It was actually by one of your viewers-she was noting the importance of loving your hair, and asked why would God bless you with more of something you already don't like! 😅 That definitely has stuck with me for a good bit now; it's not gonna go well for me to be trying to grow my hair longer if I'm not on decent terms with and haven't figured out a good, reliable maintenance process for my existing head of hair, lol. Especially dealing with and preventing those bloody tangles, lol. Plus I've got significant chronic health issues and a crazy schedule, so I only have so much time and energy to spare. BEAUTIFUL!!! My hair is butt length when straight, just touching my butt. My goal is to have butt length hair WHILE CURLY! Right now my curls sits mid breast, my next move is to grow it past my breast (1st ribcage bone). Since my hair is 3c/4a and it shrinks A LOT! it will take me longer to reach my butt while curly, but I wont give up 😂 maybe 5 more years left??? 2020 is when I did my big chop and my hair is already at this length so I estimate 4 times 5 more years for my curls to reach my butt lmao
