I got this on Kickstarter, and have enjoyed every game I've played (and I usually lose!). The one thing I would say about it is that there are so many small blocks that I'd be very wary about playing the game out in a pub. It'd be too easy to lose a piece or pieces.

I see what you mean. The bigger blocks are easier to keep track of but this is a fun battle!

Great video. Own this game and can 100% agree that the comments in the "sad experience" are not justified. Yes small cubes can be a little fiddly but imagine this with stacks of counters. Highly recommend this game and the entire series

Thank you! We answered his questions in his comments, but he deleted them. Lots of people leave positive comments on his page too, but he deletes all those as well. That little rascal!! =)

I ordered this recently and I loved it . So in the first four turns the troopers basically make four movements each battalion? Then the Sioux can begin moving. I fear I severely messed that part up. Is there any shooting from a distance or a certain range or so the pieces have to touch in order for any combat to happen?😊 thanks

First 3 turns. The Sioux can start moving on turn 4. Correct. The Gatling guns can do ranged fire like artillery. Everybody else has to contact for combat.

I'm no stranger to complaints about the Pub Battles system. I mean, "Gee, it's different!" However, like you, I find that they are almost always completely unsubstantiated! For the rest, it's a simple matter of taste. Great video! This will be a good resource when debunking my own humbuggers!
