My Sad Life Update: My Dad Passed Before I Could Ever Meet Him | A Real and Vulnerable Vlog

It pains me to even make this video and I really struggle with sharing what has been going on lately. This is real life and what I've been dealing with for the past few weeks. This is why videos this month have been scarce and I felt like I should share this with you guys. I lost my dad to a stroke. It was unexpected as were the feelings I was forced to deal with after a non existent relationship for 36 years. Its a feeling I can't find the right words to explain but I'm hoping that talking through it all in this video will provide me with some form of therapeutic peace. My Dad was physically and emotionally abusive. He died 2 years ago. I met my husband and married a month before I turned 18. (29 yrs ago) He is completely opposite of my Dad. Grateful I was smart enough to not settle on someone like my Dad.

I'm so sorry you had to endure that...but even happier to hear that you were able to turn away from the trauma and put that energy towards love. It takes a lot of patience and empathy to work through those scars. I would bet you probably felt similar emotions to mine when he left this world. Thank you for sharing with us! Looking as an outsider , whom has suffered a lot of Loss. 1. Your Biological Father . Just heard You ! 2. Anger . He is getting his life lesson NOW. 3. Feelings are valid , you did the right thing, I would have done the exact same thing . Honestly you will always have ruff days , as you know it’s been a year . Life is a hard one day at a time.
