Pottersville is so so good!! It's so oddball and Michael Shannon is adorable :D also one scene where a character says word for word the rant Christian Bale gave on the set of Terminator about the lighting. Is it the best film ever? No. Is it surprisingly fun and offbeat? 100%.

I have a fun story about Laura Osnes.... I went to my grandmas house last year, and she found an old playbill of when I was in 3rd grade and I was a munchkin in a production of the wizard of oz. I saw the name of Dorothy and I thought I recognized it so I looked it up...it was Laura Osnes! She was super nice to all of us young kids and after the production ended she had a pool party at her house for all of us. It’s cool for me to know that I knew her before her broadway career. 😀

An indie movie adaptation of an off-broadway musical I recently fell in love with was Hello Again. It’s really more of a song cycle than a straight forward plot. It also has a lot of sex (literally every scene) and if that makes you uncomfortable, it’s probably not worth it. It’s made up of 10 different love affairs, each taking place in New York in different years, as one actor from the previous affair appears in the next, working almost like a daisy chain. For example it starts off with the whore and the soldier, which is followed by the soldier and the nurse and so on, with the actor playing the soldier being the same. The music is by Michael John Lachusa and the cast includes Audra McDonald, Sam Underwood, Martha Plimpton and a bunch of other talented people.

If you liked Juno, the movie Jennifer's Body is also by Diablo Cody. It has nothing to do with Juno though... It's a mix between a comedy and a horror movie, with blood and all. I loved it! I think people are hyping it up right now because it was marketed to the wrong group.
