I have about 10-20 seconds to change from all black t shirt and black pants to blue shorts, a white t shirt, button up floral print thing, and a hat, AND get my shoes back on. I put my shorts under my pants but it still took me 30 seconds. I hope this video helps 🤠

really enjoyed this video. Sometimes it can be easy for me to feel like Kat is perfect because she's so bubbly and nice, but it was really nice hearing her talk about her flaws and then i remember that everyone is still human💗💞

I was in a production of The Prom where I was the high school ensemble. We had to run off stage during the finale and VERY QUICKLY change into our Gay Prom outfits. I’m talking everyone getting 2 minutes. The leads had a separate change cue where they only got a minute. The final 5 minutes of the show were just stressful for everyone lol

I am currently in a Western African dance ensemble, but there was one quick change that had me traumatized. Two years ago, I was carefully putting on my mask dance costume without any stage crew members . But then, the drummers played my queue too soon as I was struggling to put on the costume. I bolted down to the stage in full panic mode and started dancing while covering my face with my own arms since it was supposed to be a masquerade. When I had my secondary solo, my raffia skirt fell off while my pants were slowly sagging down. While performing my final masked dance solo, I had to hold on to my pants the whole time while my other garments were falling off. Once my act was over, I was walking to the changing tent very unhappy about that embarrassing incident. I will NEVER forget that experience 😭🤣

Frozen - I was Anna. I had to change out of a dress, put a petticoat on, put on a new dress, change my shoes, put a crown on, and put gloves on. I had four lines to do so……..

I’ve never had a quick change myself but in a panto I did last year me and about 5 other girls in my group (8-12, I was the oldest) had forgotten to put the tights on for one outfit. Most of them just went in the white socks from the previous dance but I (like an idiot) took the tights and switched with about 10 seconds to go. Also, that same show a different day, the fire alarm went of (some idiot had pulled it) and 4 dancers in the middle of a quick change had to go outside lol.

i recently had my first (stage) kiss with someone who is 2 years older than me, i had told her a few weeks before in a joking way when we were hanging out "by the way i havent had my first kiss, i think i walked in on yours so you dont have that problem" because in the last show in this company i crossed backstage and her and her boyfriend were making out.

Well Girly-Girl, what’s the updated now that the show has come and gone? IMHO, the show looked more like a well-funded high school performance than a Broadway show. Jackman and Foster didn’t seem to be acting but reciting their lines. I do give Jackman props for doing the show, even if his vocals seemed overly theatric. I also liked most of the staging-especially the “Marian The Librarian” number. Jackman has an athleticism Preston lacked and was appropriate for the update. Sorry, I thought Sutton Foster was miscast; she sounds like a whiny high school kid and seemed like one of the other 102 Illinois girls Hill would have left behind. That said this production, even with its flaws didn’t try to ape earlier version and came off as a fresh approach. It certainly beat Disney’s sad try by miles.

THIS HELPS SO MUCH! This year I’m doing Matilda Jr in my school and I have three. roles. I’m a Mum in Miracle, a big kid and Rudolpho. Mum->Big Kid is about 5-10ish minutes so that’s fine, but after School Song there’s about a page of dialogue I get to change through, then from Revolting Children, I have 35-45 seconds to change from a school uniform to a 70s jumpsuit and heels (we made Rudolpho a female dance instructor instead) and this is going to help SO much❤

I first thought that "Little Miss Perfect" was a song from the Owl House. Some kids shows do have musical numbers and it fit one of the characters to a tee. Learning that it's related to 13 Reasons Why doesn't change my view on it since I associate it with The Owl House.

What possesses people to act like complete fools to celebrities. I’m not talking about a being starstruck situation. I mean like yelling at them like those audience members did to the Jo Bros and co. I would simply ignore the celebrities in a situation like that. They’re just people.

And now that the show is closing without rhyme or reason, and probably because Sutton and Hugh’s contracts are up, proves that all they cared about was the celebrity casting. Also, it looks like Beetlejuice got the last laugh after all.

Throwback to when I saw Hadestown on Broadway and started hysterically sobbing at the end. During the final song after bows where they raise their cups I was still grossly sobbing and made full extended eye contact with one of the ensemble members in one of the most emotional and embarrassing moments of my life.
