Ashley should definitely think about making a recovery series! If only because there's a huge difference between having to stay off a hand vs. having to stay off a foot (and the effects that has on what you can do in the gym during recovery). Love the videos and am so happy to see you out of that boot-- good things to come, I'm sure:)

Your rehab seems to be going really well! I'm actually going through the same at the moment, I snapped two ligaments in my ankle landing a tsuk wrong and had to get them reconstructed. How do you find balancing the pain of an injury? How do you judge when you are being too hesitant and when you need to push through the pain?

Just before watching the end of this video I was using tennis balls to work out the tension in my back from a new exercise movement for myself...that I saw you doing. :D Hurts a bit during the process but when your muscles finally ease up afterwards it's the best and then I'm more willing to hit the gym again tomorrow. Your positive attitude is super motivating. I'm not an athlete, I just want to be a better me. I'm glad I found your channel. Thanks.

Hey, are you training by yourself? Local clubs don't offer anything for people starting that old here. I have been doing a simple rings training routine 3x a week by myself. Often I'm not sure if I'm doing certain skills right, which makes me scared of injury.

QUESTION What is that red thing with GYMNOVA inscription on supposed to do? Why do you use it in training? It appears at 2:02 and 2:10.
@NileWilsonGymnast7 жыл бұрын
It's padding that we push over the bar when doing releases to prevent injuring ourselves!
@gooner02927 жыл бұрын
So you rotate your body and try to grab the bar to create a sort of a reflex? I mean - you wouldn't be able to grab it but you do the motion anyway.
