Leo! I thought that was you! You did so well during your 1st groom and were so brave. You look even more handsome now that your clean and fluffy. My daughter has a cat named Midnight that looks just like Leo. She usually grooms him herself at home, 3 to 4 times a year. She took him to a groomer once and that's when she learned about the sanitary trim and also shaving between the paw pads, both good ideas. She's done that ever since.

I took my senior cat to the groomer a few months ago because she was struggling to groom herself. She wasn’t thrilled but the groomer was so gentle and her coat looked amazing afterward! They were so gentle with her and she looked happy afterwards! Leo you look handsome! 💞💕

I had to bathe my cat quite a numerous amount of times since shes an outdoor cat and always gets herself in dirty situations!! Leo really is like an old soul-so patient and very polite! He fits in perfectly with our family since we share similar traits, lol. The "wran" might have sounded worse than it was but it’s actually his polite way of being grumpy and saying, Let me out, whats happening here, you know im waiting, etc Of course, he’s the boss of the house so once he got home we gave him more treats, followed by his favorite big meal, and a nice nap. After that, he was right back to his old self, bossing everyone around. =)

And with his grooming, Leo is even more handsome, if that's possible😍 Too bad you're in Canada and Tiger can't meet him 😻😂Speaking of grooming, Tiger really needs to be groomed, her fur is matted. Happens every summer. I've taken her to the vet for a shave in the past, but this year have been de-knotting by hand and clipping with scissors- as much as she'll allow me too😨The vet charges over 100 AUD for just an in-office shaving of a small area above her tail where she gets knots. May I ask how much Leo's grooming costed? I guess it depends on how much matting etc. too, but for just for a basic minimal groom? Funnily enough, Goldie, who has much more fur, never gets knots in her fur. She's very good at grooming herself.

Tiger and Goldie are such gorgeous kittys! ❤ Grooming prices can really vary depending on the groomer, the breed, and the specific services needed. In Toronto and the surrounding areas, grooming for Siberian cats typically costs around $275-$300 for a full groom but basic grooming or shaving smaller areas is usually less expensive. It’s amazing how Goldie avoids matting on her own-she must be a pro at self-care! Tiger sounds like such a sweetheart and it’s great that you’re helping her as much as she’ll allow. Grooming can definitely be tricky sometimes!

@@SiberianCatLeo Thanks for the info! Yes, Goldie is a pro, she should start her own KZbin channel to teach other cats how to take care of their fur! In Tiger's defence, although her fur is long, it's not nearly as dense as Goldie's, so I think that plays a role in fur matting.

I’ll never forget the first time I took my cat to the groomer many, many years ago. He was completely fine until they turned on the blow dryer. He bolted off the table and tried to hide in their storage cabinet! The groomer was so sweet and patient, though, and now he’s much better about it. I only take him to the groomer if he gets into really dirty substances or big messes that I can’t clean off him myself. He’s a senior now and still goes outdoors daily.
