That was an amazing shot for Luke! And Jake got a beautiful Buck to! Elk heart is one of my fav meals. We normally let it soak in salt water for about a day or so, then rinse it really well with water to make sure there's no blood left inside. Then we flay it open and cut in to small finger steaks. Then dredge them in a flour salt pepper mix, Hot bacon grease and cook! Gotta agree to not over cook it. It gets rubbery and grey. Thank you so much for uploading! I Loved seeing you trout fish, it looked so fun. I seriously thought you were going to take a dive in that beaver dam. Walking barefoot down those sticks i was positive one was going to break!

Just took my 6 yr old daughter hog hunting with me the other night here in cali, obviously she couldn’t shoot anything. But it was an amazing experience to share with her. Just listening to the owls and all the other animals was good enough for me.

Perfect advice, my boy is now 17. Killed his first deer with a 410 at 7, killed a ton of deer, turkey and ducks since then. Started with a crossbow but now is a perfect bow shooter. Telling it like it is, I raised mine like you are trying with your 2. He is respectful, follows the rules and wants to go in the military next year. But he is all into hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling and the outdoors. Great video.

Gabriel this was a real good video & I loved it, your Dad enjoyed it with all the different stuff you packed it full of.! I wish we’d been at camp when they got those 🦌 deers. Really great shots they both are growing up so fast but I think they should hang ‘‘em up, skin & clean them. Jake knows how to cook deermeat so they need to take some packages of meat to their Mom’s so Jake can cook for them over there. Luke can do the dishes 😂. But I will start letting him help cook over here more. Clynkie’s have a beautiful place in Colorado & im proud Dick & Nancy came to our RVPARK and we met them so we got to go to their beautiful spectacular Ranch to meet all of the other Clynkie’s. Glad the bear did not decide to climb the tree & check you out. Your first cast catching that trout was awesome! I would be worried to walk on the beaver dam for fear of I’m paling myself on those thousands of shark sticks of all sizes! Glad you fried up some of the Elk heart, organ meat is some of my favorite meat. Organ meat is high in Bvitamins especially B6, B12. B6 is great for breaking down proteins, carbs & fats. B12 reduces Colesterol 👍

I grew up on a lake in New Hampshire. You running around bare foot brought back awesome memories of fishing that lake on foot (bare) through the blue berry shrubbery!!!! Our feet were bullet proof! Thanks for the footage!

Gabe, you gotta be so proud of those boys! The confidence you’re instilling in them is really stating to show. I know there’s nothing like the feeling when I was finally old enough to hunt on my own and use the things I was taught by my dad and older brother. To me hunting isn’t just about the harvest. It’s all the awesome stuff that goes along with it, like the time spent with family and friends, and all the cool things you can see and experience when you’re in God’s creation! I always wish so many more people could experience and understand this way of life, I think it might help make this world just a little bit more bearable for some folks!
