Lol, man I would have used those aluminum rivets if I could have but it just wasn't happening. But those steps are Sea-cure and I'm glad that job is behind me. Stay tuned for my swim platform and my fore-deck dinghy hoist. It's coming along nicely...👍

Nice job buddy! I found your channel and subscribed because I just put a contract on an endeavor 32 currently on the hard near Annapolis. Plan to get survey and splash it for the first time the first week of April. This is my first boat. Hope to fix her up like you are with Sea Lilly. I’ve watched every video you’ve made. I was bummed when you were gonna sell her. Glad you’re keeping her. Look forward to more content soon. Cheers

Awesome thank you! If there is any question I can answer about the Endeavour just holler at me. Another guy that knows a bit about them is Ben from Sailboat Story. They started on an E32 also, then moved up to their current Westsail 42.

Great job on the mast steps. I believe I would have hauled my impact driver up there on a tether. I bet those hands were screaming after all those screws.

It was a challenge. I tried using my cordless drill at first but it sheared the very 1st screw. The problem is stainless and aluminum. You need the size of the hole just right. And just right means it's almost too small. If you try and go too fast it starts to bind and it will shear the head off your screw right quick. It's the hole is too big its easy to get the screw in but there's very little aluminum holding those threads in there. Basically a big in the ass !
