@@WishGender Don't worry, it's essentially the same thing as happens to 15 yr old boys, you have terrible patchy facial hair for a couple years, and then eventually it gets better. Some people can get a decent coverage in 2-3 years, for most people it takes longer. There's also topical treatments you can use to help it come in thicker once it starts coming in, like Monoxidil

Alright so since people were asking, I'll start by specifying that the situation I mentioned was a small side joke not relevant to the plot. The actual plot is set in a Sci-fi world similar but not quite like Star Trek and it's like. And the plot involves the main characters being Vigilantes in outer space. The series being the Vigilante Chronicles by Michael Anderle and Natalie Grey, and the joke itself I am referencing is contained within chapter 2 of the third book.

Hey, same here! I sometimes feel like I'm not allowed to be feminine because I'm trans, like I have something to prove and I won't be taken seriously if I don't act "manly" enough. It's sucks. To be honest I like feminine things. I like wearing make up sometimes, I love to bake and I like sewing, heck I've wanted to wear a skirt once or twice. Why are these things even considered feminine? I hate that I'm not comfortable enough with myself to not give a shit about what other people think. Sometimes when Click speaks Swedish, it takes me some time to realize it is Swedish and not German because it often sounds similar. For example shark is pronounced nearly the same in both languages it’s only written different

Since I've been watching the Click and have heard all these similar words I'm now even more confused about how Princess Victoria has reportedly tried to learn German back in the day, but could never pick it up. (I dunno why this random royal trivia has stuck in my head, but that's just how my brain works, I just remember the most random things, but I'm also really into languages, so maybe that's why. As a German I really usually don't care about royal stuff.)

Well, not exactly. They do have an inner ear but it is made from different parts. Our ears parts live in the snakes jaw and gives them an extra hinge. The bits they use for hearing evolved independently, only a small portion is the same between mammal and squamate ears. We use to think they listed to ground but turns out different branches of the snake family tree listen in different ways and we haven't totally figured out how they hear but we do know range of hearing on some species like ball pythons. I've seen colubrids lift their head to listen, so who knows how that works. Time will tell as more research is done.
