This is very encouraging. So happy for you. My poor kitten is on day 5 of the treatment. She looks a lot like your kitty, but smaller. Also dry FIP. She's already doing a lot better than she was, but still a long way to go. One of her main issues is that she's totally incontinent. Did that happen with your cat?

Chelsea, my kitten Frankie has been recently diagnosed with FIP (wet form) and I have made the decision to treat him. I'm so glad to see someone else has taken this step for their cat as most people would put the cat down. Alot of people call me crazy knowing how much money I am spending to try to save his life knowing there is a possibility he could still die. Thankyou for being someone who decided to fight this battle with your cat! It gives me hope that Frankie can survive. It has been about one week since frankie was diagnosed we have a long fight in front of us but hopefully it will all be worth it ❤ im so happy for you that Kirpi is happy and healthy again he couldnt have done it without you xxx

I love love love cats and all animals (12 years vegan); I hope Kirpi, and all animals, have a long healthy happy safe lives. With that said, my biggest dilemma is money. With soooo many animals (potentially billions) needing help especially in countries like Turkey (think spay/neuter/car accidents/poisoning/food/water/the most basic illnesses/farm animals waiting their death etc) - using a very expensive treatment to hopefully save (but it could be to only extend the life of in some cases 😿) one very precious animal vs saving more precious animals with the same amount of money (spay/neuter/feed/basic vaccinations/donations to sanctuaries/animal rights organizations etc) … the dilemma hits me soo hard, every single day. Again this is in NO WAY to say ‘Kirpi shouldn’t have had this expensive treatment’, I wish you both the best life ever, but it’s a HUGE personal dilemma of mine, especially with very limited resources we all have (economic crisis making things even tougher😿)and the vast number of animals in dire need. I wish the world was a different place … lets never forget no matter how short or long a life might be, every second should be filled with love love love ❤️🌱❤️

It's called GS441524, there are a number of brands of it such as Spark, Lucky, Oscar, and Capella. I am in NYC and have treated nearly 20 cats, some were almost dead at the start. Everyone is surviving. FIP is no longer fatal, I've been waiting for this for many years after watching so many cats die from it.

Dear Chelsea, There is a stray cat that I love very much. His tail broke off week ago. He's constantly sneezing. I'm wondering, is it an infection or an allergy?

Oh no I’m sorry about your kitty! A few of my cats were sneezing nonstop a couple weeks ago so I got a simple antibiotic from the vet and within 4-5 days they were cured. Just ask any vet for a prescription and give them a dose a day❤️

I’m so sorry to hear about your kitty, there’s a special medicine you can google it. It’s made by brands like Lucky and a few others, you can find a way to get it depending on which country you live in but it isn’t sold in pharmacies
