Hi Chelsea. I have faced same problem for my cat in Chicago 3 years ago. She had wet type fip. I got vials and money donations. An American family did teach me how to do injection. We had 3 rough months but the cure ended up with happiness. I feel you. I’m happy for your cat 🐈‍⬛

Hi, Chelsea. So happy to hear the good news. I didn't even know about the cat's condition. You are literally an angel to them all, showing utmost care and sincere love. I also have a stray cat at home and he was about to die from multiple problems. I had been feeding him and many others on my balcony and only he was sick all the time and so I couldn't turn a blind eye and saved his life with the help of a local veterinarian. No need to say that it coated me an arm and a leg and tremendous amount of my working time. But what matters is that he is healthy again and he got another chance to live... But what I want to say is that with the experience ot 1.5 years of stray cat feeding and caring, I've started to think that we can't help all of them, unfortunately :( and the more we help one more, some more cats (and even dogs) appear to be helped. And here is where it gets complicated, both financially and emotionally. I started to feel that sometimes we can't and maybe shouldn't intervene much in nature's merciless handling of living things :( even in wild nature all kinds of animals get wounded, starved to death, die unexpectedly or hunted or slaughtered etc. No matter how much I feel pain to say that we are not so powerful as to tackle the nature's hardcore treatment of living things, it's a sad truth that intervening in that weird (unconscientious) mechanism is futile and overwhelmingly difficult. While we feel sad about cats and dogs and try to feed them with great dry food rich in protein, we seem to forget that all those chickens, lamb, cows, fish etc are killed for those dry foods... :( As can be clearly seen, there is a unique albeit inconsiderate approach to the food chain within nature, which we are a part of.

I found out my cat smokey has fip a week ago. She has started the injections. Its only been a week, and sadly she caught a uri couple days ago. Im so hoping she comes out of this. Its hard not to cry for your baby. Congrats on your baby beating it.
