A bit of advice.Melt the butter,mix with egg.Mix dry ingredients separately.Combine wet and dry.Fold wet into dry.Do not over mix.Then microwave or bake.

Cook in air fryer on "Air Fry" at 166° Celsius for approximately 3 min (+ or - depending on your air fryer), but watch and remove after muffin reaches peak rise (visual) for about 20-30 seconds. Hope you can use this as an alternative cooking method. 😊

I will try this now 👍 it worked brilliant, I used flaxseed meal, cinnamon, barley flour, baking powder, cocao, almond milk , an egg . Didn't use any sugar or sweetener forgot the butter .. I nuked it in the microwave for 2minutets I will make another with dry fruit or/and blueberries thankyou..I will see what other great ideas you have 👍o yea I added LSA ground linseed sunflower seed and almond

A little bit of salt will activate the baking soda, and it will be less dense. You can replace Stevie with honey, and it will give a little more liquid/moisture as well.

Been making this recipe with variations for a couple of years. It is very flexible. I have enhanced this with oat or wheat bran, and chia seeds. Also used pumpkin or Christmas spice mix. Savoury herbs and spices are a nice change as well. I have it just before bed. Peace

Just a note- For the holiday season I've added a tablespoon of mincemeat, a few chopped cherries and a teaspoon of christmas spice, instead of the cinnamon only. Experiment!! Happy Yule. Merry meet, Merry part

I used it for cheese crackers like cheese it’s. I made Brownies so pretty much anything that used flour. I hope this helps.

Stevia is made from the Stevia plant so it's not artificial. You can even buy seeds and grow your own leaves!

I've heard stevia only grows in cold places, is that true? Can we grow stevia plant if we live in a hot climate?

@@cottoncandace7704 I'm not sure about it, but I think it's only hardy outside in warmer climates. In colder climates it's a house plant. I use monk fruit sugar now. It doesn't dissolve very easily so that's a draw back when it comes to using it in liquids.

So I saw this recipe recently and it looked good. I made it twice so far. I added a little more cinnamon and chopped up about 1-2 Tb of pecans and added to mix. Delicious and reminds me of spice cake. I think it might be good with pumpkin pie spice too. Maybe a little cream cheese for a great dessert. Nice recipe and so easy. Thanks.

Looks good! I will do this but have to adjust for baking time, as I do not own a microwave. I'd probably also use golden flaxseeds which have a lighter taste and add the berries inside the muffin rather than as a topping or even do with a sugar free berry jam. Thx! 🤗

I tried it with 1.5 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp cocoa powder, and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract. It still came out kinda bland, and it was very dense and dry. I added 1 tbsp peanut butter on top, and that helped with the flavor. Next time, I might try adding a bit more butter/fat or a splash of water to help with the texture. It would make a really nice dense, savory bread/bun to slice and toast with the right seasonings!

Flasted has no gluten so it's actually better to mix well, and even let it sit for a few minutes to absorb the liquid (this is true for most gluten-free cooking/baking). But add salt to activate the baking soda.

Good recipe I'm going to add cacao powder maybe a little pinch of nutmeg and salt possibly a tablespoon of almond milk too. I'm going to use a coconut oil ganache cacao powder and monk fruit as a drizzle over it and top it with some nuts seeds and coconut mixture as a dessert for Christmas looks delicious can't wait to try it thank you so much.

Thanks for this. I used to love making mug cakes but most if not all require coconut flour. About a year into keto and suddenly my digestive tract freaked out with any amount of coconut fiber (thankfully I can still have the oil). So no more coconut mana or flour for me (super sad face).

I have a smallish Corningware ramekin (about the width of a quarter pounder inside.) Once you're used to the flavour, you can use it to make "bagels" or "hamburger buns" or "sandwich buns." I didn't think that I'd be able to handle this flavour without the Splenda (the sweetener I prefer) but one time I actually forgot it and it made a better bun! Also, you can do 1/2 cinnamon and 1/2 cocoa powder for a chocolate flavoured muffin. I just bought powdered peanut butter (think PB2) and I'm going to try stirring that in next time I want a treat! The recipe sounds awesome. I will make it for sure. Thanks for sharing. Easy, quick & ... all ingredients are carefully selected, organic & all that. Which is fantastic. I will try to bake it in the oven though. I never was fan of microwaves & I banned it from my life for good about 6 years ago. It destroys the precious nutrients. And that would be just one thing. But it also adds some real nasty stuff to the food we put into it. So after eating it... yes, affects our body. Use it regularly... yes. Bad stuff. It's everybody's own choice how they make their food of course. I'm just trying to raise awareness. It is a dangerous thing that turns healthy ingredients into broken & harmful substance. Time cannot be so important... nothing can. Please, do your research & look after yourselves. Blessings 🌟

888 calories for 1 cup of flax ÷ 4 is 222 calories plus egg 90 calories + 34 calories for butter ... 346 calories I think ... just adding it up by looking up things individually
