My surprise discovery about this Piaget watch

Last month, at Watches & Wonders I took one of the watches that my father gifted me to Piaget to see if I could find out more about it. What I learned came as a complete surprise…

I have a watch from that era similar, eterna quartz mvmnt, never serviced battery changes only. Looks as good as this. Has 0 water resist. Don’t wash your hands with it on. Dressy watch only. My wife gave it to me on our wedding day. Not going anywhere. So it’s both gorgeous and priceless to me. If you’ve never held or seen one in person, one cannot judge the timepiece. It was more jewelry and a statement of the times than a watch. Discrete timekeeping. Also, congratulations on your most exquisite discovery. Your father knew it was something special so he gave it to you. Wear it proudly. 😊

That is a very cool watch and only 6 made. Very rare. Awesome bracelet on it too, very 70s. I wonder if that style will ever come back, I hope it does. Also a good example of why you buy a watch from a brand like Piaget, they have a record of everything going back probably hundreds of years. There's a point of timelessness to it. Contact most other brands and you'll get an automated response, Piaget has a head of patrimony who will call the archives for you. Pretty neat. Now I'm curious to see what you have to say about Bremont...
