Our co council are refusing 2 do any repairs if you refuse the heat pump. It's a scam-easier to control usage and 2 tax compared to turf/ timber. Houses on the estate that did have them are having mould issues.

Your right Val. Fantastic stuff, and also take into consideration of power outage. As these pumps cannot be just turned off. Plumber call out. What about new house with no chimneys. Those house will get chimneys installed eventually.

Totally agree with you heat pumps are a very expensive way to heat a 3 bedroom house for example between 300 and 400 euros a month where the temperature is set at +24c .

I think the rayburn works better, cooks your food, heats the water, runs the central heating.

Wow!! Thank you so much. Just found out my engineering professor in University was lying. His knowledge of Thermodynamics and Psychrometrics must be seriously flawed. I am now even beginning to have my doubts about Newtons laws. Bloody hell! & I believed all that! 🥱😤😡
