I have the same car 2018 P100D, I get about 270 miles on a full charge, might be the way your car has been used. My car has only done about 20k miles and has barely been supercharged. Your one looks like a late 2016 or 2017 so that could also be the reason. So look out for miles, supercharger usage and month & year

I bought a used 2017 Model X 100D back in May and its a pretty freaking cool car. The touchscreen drives me nuts sometimes when it shuts down for a few minutes but lucky Tesla has announced they will replace the eMMC on all S/X made prior to March 2018.

Turning radius is horrible on Model X. A good example is the time window needed to complete an unsuccessful U turn specially if you heave 2022 steering yoke. This is also a safety issue, because it exposes you to incoming traffic with no room to back up. I have not measured the turning radius on my Mosel X, but 36' is what people are reporting. I wonder Giga Berlin Plant will release cars with this kind of turning radius for European markets. For the eight month I owned this car crackling, squeaking and chirping noises are not getting any better. FSD definitely is not recommended at this point. Major improvements are needed. Some of them seems to be not Tesla's fault, for example street markings, upkeep and standardization. I also think Model X is missing grab bars to help people with mobility issues to access or exit the cabin.
@jonathansage21474 жыл бұрын
The large wheels will definitely eat your range, that said, you should be able to see it. You can tell the car what wheels you're on from in the menu and it will adjust the expected range accordingly. Also, you'll get better life out of the battery charging it every night if that's not too big of a pain (I certainly forget sometimes). I imagine you know this, but charging to 100% is totally fine so long as you don't leave it like that for extended periods. For a road trip you absolutely should charge to 100% using scheduled departure.

I jus got Tesla model x 2020 but I haven’t drive on a road trip yet. And I don’t know how long at the super charge will take to charge.

Not the only thing. My father is in a wheel chair and he uses the summons every day to pull the car out so he has room to get in and put his wheel chair in the car when someone parks next to him. It's incredibly useful for him. It's one of the reasons he choose the Tesla.

My model X is by far the best road trip vehicle we've ever had the pleasure of owning, I don't know what this guy is complaining about, Nor does it take an hour to supercharge. It only takes an hour if you charge to 100%. Anything else is 20 to 30 minutes...

@@edwardecko he litterly Explained the Issue 1- In a Long Trip you don't wait For 100% at a Supercharger right ??? That's 50 miles lost already 2- Cold Weather Temperatures reduce Range That's another 50 miles Range gone to Dust 3- You are not ment to discharge batteries below 20% that's another 50 miles you can use , yes you could drive to 0 miles Range however that risks a Vehicle Shutdown and could potentially damage the battery pack . All this things add up to a Poor Range at Motorway speeds 🤷

@@niceboy60 I take it you do not own a Tesla. My Model X has a heat pump unit. For road trips there's no need to charge you a 100%. The first half of the battery range is exaggerated that's why you are getting 70 out of your initial 140. The second half of your 140 is more accurate and gets more accurate as you get less so you are less likely to get stranded.

No mention of the windshield. Why doesn’t almost no one talk about this? In every car I’ve been in, I can’t see a traffic light if I’m close to it/first in line. I have to duck down. Besides that, being able to see more of the sky feels more open and less claustrophobic. This is easily one of the only reasons why I would get this car over any other. I can’t find any other car that has a windshield like this one
