Odd that feminists never say anything about the extreme misogyny of 1slam. Like all lefties that cower when any real danger shows up. If feminists think they are not seen as infidels to be dealt with they are beyond delusional. Feminism was always about destroying the western world not woman's rights. Islam has misogyny built in that the western world has never experienced.Islam does not give a rats about white female privilege no matter the socioeconomic status or class. You have been played ladies.

Great speech. A lot of extreme feminism is about vengeance and enforcing a matriarchy. Equality means equality. Superiority and wanting to bring men down are not the core values of equality. It's not fair to seek vengeance on a whole gender, play oppression Olympics, and calling any man who disagree with this form of extremism an incel, and misogynist. There are countries in the world where patriarchy is very much alive, but women have it pretty darn good in much of the west.

Of course outcome shouldn't be given on a plate, but outcome absolutely matters. If women, men or any group are getting a worse outcome then it needs to be adressed. For example, male suicide rates are a lot higher, despite men and women having equal rights and access to psychological/psychiatric help ( and DESPITE the fact women's troubles tend to be dismissed as irrational, overall health not taken seriously, look it up). Nevertheless, isn't men's outcome concering? Similar to women having worse outcomes in other areas.

Something seems a bit odd about the facts that women have earned more Bachelor's degrees than men for 30 years and yet occupy only 7% of top management positions. Can lack of ambition explain this huge discrepancy? Or perhaps the discrepancy is a sign that the deck is severely stacked against women, and they are responding to this by getting degrees in greater numbers.

Bad degrees. Can't do much with a degree in women's studies. And I know lots who end up staying home after having a family. The deck isn't stacked against women. If they want, they can rise in the ranks. If they embrace victimhood, they always have an excuse. Excuses get you nowhere. After I had my kids, work wasn't as important. I'm a manager now, but not sure I really want to be due to time commitments and kids activities. I like the pay though.

There are some 150 generally more degrees for women than men, many of them, like gender studies, is highly irrelevant and pretty unapplicable to most of society. College has, as an institution, taken advantage of a mindset that is nothing more than a bunch of women being duped by salesmen.

You are speaking propaganda. Women don't need children to be happy. Of course I respect everyone's choice and I understand why parenthood is meaning of life to many people, but you are dead wrong if you say women NEED to sacrifice their carees, hobbies and everything that previously made them happy for children because it's what they are SUPPOSED to do. If a woman has kids its fine. If a woman doesn't have kids its also fine. Both choices are VALID. And some women are legitimately miserable being mothers and were never meant to be mother, but found out when it was too late. Women need to be informed of the decision theyre making, the risks of pregnancy, childbirth, post partum depression, sacrificing your life for another life.

You want to make a man angry? Let him catch you spreading lies about him. You want to make a woman angry? Let her catch you spreading the "truth" about her. There's your TEDx "disclaimer" suitably explained. It's an open apology for the gaping disconnect some women have between what they think and how they're actually perceived......only this apology's actually being given TO these women (by TEDx)...for allowing this unsavoury disconnect to be pointed out on their platform because they know it'll attract feminine "heat."

the funny thing is it those established sources who have harvested people trust for ages are now in the ultimate place of power where they know that no one can question them and if anyone does question them they can easily discredit them by saying that they (their opponent) is not a credible source. This is the kind of stuff we see happening on twitter and instagram through "fact checkers"

@@STARSALL011 Tell that the judge who desided, that the mother should be parenting the child, but not the father even if the kid is 7× more likely to get pregnant before the age of 18 (if it's a girl), more likely to commit suicide, more likely to end up homeless, more likely to commit crimes ect. when growing up without a father. We also have to say, that these numbers could be simular, when the father is parenting, but what it tells us is that fathers aren't parents 2. class, but should be equally likely be the one parenting, if the parents are divorced.

Equality mean equal oppertunity, not equal results. Equal results comes from not only hard work, but playing smart, improving yourself, taking on resposibility and accountability. Those last two things are yet to be seen by many.

Isn't equality of outcome a mith, that could never be achieved without forcing woman to "work with things" and forcing men to "work with people", because men are not as sozial and more interrested in things than woman?

@@touchgrass7834 it forces women to work for it, but the harsh reality is in an actual equal pace and oppertunity, many will find sadly working the career field is ultimately highly unfullfilling (unless youre lucky enough to land in a job you semi dont mind), plus material possesions arent everything. The ultimate downfall of this movement its like being forced to the plantation without even knowing it

And more to that, equal opportunity won't lead to equal outcome because people choose differently. Women are less likely to choose careers that are rather physically demanding.

Several issues of logic and content here. 1) Many times more women die from domestic violence than men in the world. This is an indisputable statistical fact. Does this mean feminists go around calling all women -in general -victims? No. 2) One of the pillars of feminism is that women are overly sexualized and objectified. This lecture confuses a cultural issue or the influence of Hollywood for feminism. Uneducated Hollywood celebrities and behavioural trends in young women are obviously no source for what is modern feminism. Are there problems with modern feminism? Yes. But this talk did a bad job of addressing them.

This statement is a great example of exactly the mindset she was addressing, with her challenge to feminists who position women as uniquely victimized more so than men. Sure, many times more women die from domestic violence. But on the other hand, exponentially more men die from war than women. Many many times more men are incarcerated. Something like 92% of all workplace injuries and deaths are of men. The majority of homeless people are men. So to her point, unfortunately, there is plenty of pain and suffering to go around and women need to stop making a unique claim to it.

@@denisemewbourne6976 You are comparing apples to oranges. Men commit more crime, particularly violent crime, that is why more are in jail. Men traditionally chose riskier (better paid) professions. Men volunteer to go into the military in the West. These are choices, sometimes on a societal level. None of these things does anything to refute my criticism of this video. In fact, it goes to show how desperate some people are to deny how male violence is still a huge problem.

The simple fact that more boys are born than girls, yet in the West, by the age of 40, there are more women than men. Why? Because men are much more likely to die from crime or suicide or accidents on building sights, or as police, firefighters and men in the armed forces. Girls are better educated because we have gone from 60% female teachers in 1974 to 96% female teachers in 2019. Education has been feminized, with the lack of male teachers and lack of fathers involvement in their kids, young boys are adrift.
