This is the 1965 - 66 season closing credits with sponsor logo for the CBS TV series My Three Sons. This is rarely seen in syndication. Fair use and educational purposes are the only reasons for this video upload.

I'm assuming that in some cases, there must be additional red tape involved in airing or othrwise releasing old shows like this when there are obsolete ads from versions of products that are still available? However, in the case of defunct brands, and/or parent companies of those brands/products, maybe those old copyright claims don't apply?

Sponsors alternating during this season was by The Toni Company(Deep Magic, Silver Curl, Casual, Dippity Do, Tonette, White Rain, et al) and Hunt-Wesson Foods(Snowdrift, Hunt's, Wesson Oil, et al)...The Toni Company also brings you "The Lucy Show".

Well, that's how it ended originally when it first aired on CBS. Seemed to be the norm that season for most shows.

Could have been the only usable film available for transfer to digital! Very little the company can do about that!

ABC had full opportunity to produce the show in color and turned it away. Don Fedderson moved it over to CBS. ABC blew a good program right out their rooftop.

Yep - they basically sent a top 20 show over to CBS, which aired it on the same day/time. And where it continued to rank in the top 20 the year after it moved.
