You can lean a mirror against the wall or do a portrait hang. Install you hanger securely to the ceiling and hang with wire, rope or something from there. Or there is heavy duty command art hangers.

For the pretty wall, you could always hang something using command strips or something more “temporary” like that rather than drilling a hole :)

When I was doing a renovation in my room, for the hanger my dad and I we just went outside and found a perfect tree branch (it was tree cutting season in Ukraine so we didn’t cut it) and bought some thiccc ropes to hang it from the ceiling, it’s still my favorite part of the room, I wish I could add a picture in the comment😅

The toenail thing! I have the same thing and it's always caused by the fact that my toes are super long and no matter how well my shoes fit they end up sore when I wear shoes for too long - try cutting away the dead nail, gently pumicing the skin underneath if you can, and trying to moisturise the area as muchg as you can to try and encourage the nail to grow back over it

I also wanted to comment about this! My nails are not long but still if shoe fits tight it will cause the separation. Or if i drop something on/hit my toe. I usually don’t cut it all the way, keeping the normal shape and it grows out all good. But that is the matter of preference 😅

Toenails fall if they’re traumatised. Mine do it on the regular (I’m a ballerina so they had plenty of trauma 😮). Unfortunately to cope with the trauma, usually they never regrow the same (they thicken and they don’t look great).. but that’s if you repeat the damage on them (or have shoes that are too tight).
