I bought the original beecore board when it first came out hoping it would bind to my evolution and it didn't. Did they fix that? I bought mine on banggood. Not sure if the ebay one is the same or not. I ended up using the Eachine Tiny 32bits F3 Brushed Flight Control Board and just soldering the motors to it, connecting the tiny FS-A8S, used a custom 3D printed mount and it is super light.

I can highly recommend canging the battery cabel and going for jst 2.0 ph batterys(maybe HV). Probably you can also use the 200mw VTX of the Eachine TX02 camera. Unpin it, connect it to your camera and glue it with the antenna facing backwards on your fc. It won't brake any more that easy like this.

Hey JC Great video on the whoop I would like to see your Hellbender 122 and your thoughts on it. I have have not been able to find very much info on it. HB 204 0n it's way! Ordering Awk 210 when I get back from FL.

Great vid. Can you show some flight footage of your tiny whoop flying? That would be awesome!! I have a Turnigy and would be interested to see it flying a tiny whoop. Keep up the great work!

Thanks. I've been swapping out parts for a while haha. But I'm finally happy with everything now after trying a bunch of stuff out and seeing what I like best. I think after getting the smaller cricket cam v2 I'll be completely done with it.

I've been doing the same with mine and my son's tiny whoops. I gave up waiting for the all in one boards to support the 2A protocol so i ultimately ended up with a micro brushed F3 board and the micro flysky RX. Yeah, it's still two boards but I do get to run ibus which I like a lot.
@adroc98417 жыл бұрын
Any reason why you havent upgraded to LiHV and the PH 2.0 connector? Also what PIDs are you running?

My Beecore drops out of the sky randomly for no good reason. Any ideas? Also sometimes when I have disarmed it will still spin the motors. Seems like a sketchy board

You should 3D print the Goldberg frame from helination it's the best frame for all around flying and it's completely indestructible

how often do you have to replace the motors?
@mikecicciari8457 жыл бұрын
Wait I have a BeeCore FC and I thought it only had the 1st Flysky protocol while the Evolution uses the newer Flysky protocol. If I can use my whoop with my evo instead of this old PoS Flysky remote ill be the happiest bean alive.
@JoshHowell_profile7 жыл бұрын
JC, can you address this? I was under the same impression. I am having to use the FS-A8S receiver to fly with my Evolution.
@1979Iceman7 жыл бұрын
I just checked Banggood and they mentioned the beecore being updated to the new protocol. I checked the ebay link and it doesn't say it is the new version but I would imagine they are all coming out supporting the 2A protocol.

Why does the frame look bent? Or is that just cause the camera FOV?

Hi, i was wondering how long does it take to charge each battery (non HV battery) on the Strix charging board connected on the wall?? Thanks
@jimhyndman82237 жыл бұрын
Hi JC how did you get the beecore F3 FC to bind to the turnigy Evo, I have spent a couple of hours on this and failed, reading the forums it appears that the beecore is AHFDS and the turnigy is AHFDS 2A
@Cornflakes6917 жыл бұрын
Jim Hyndman turn ahfds off
@jimhyndman82237 жыл бұрын
Hi Micheal my understanding is to get it working on a fly sky TX you turn AHFDS 2A off which reverts it to the older AHFDS protocol the Turnigy appears to be locked to the 2A protocols. Any detailed info you can supply would be great

not too bad my ultra power charger worth off a xt60 I just haven't tried it yet. I really have had my eye on these board I really like the idea of not worrying about voltage or whether its the same battery.

have you thought about going brushless on you whoop?

I have. Not brushless on this specific one but I'd like to build another just for brushless. That would be really cool.

Project Blue Falcon yup. I just sold my brushed micro and am looking into building a brushless one. There are multiple free frames on thingiverse to 3d print too!!

I expected more from you on the Tiny whoop. Linear antenna, taken off the camera guard for weight savings, & certainly not using rubber bands to mount the camera. You are better than this PBF. :-D However, that STRIX charger is B/A!

yes... but the eachine frame is more durable i brooke my inductrix frame 3 times :)
@changeagent2286 жыл бұрын
People should be aware you should never charge a lipo or any lithium battery to higher than its rated voltage. Do not charge cells rated 4.25v in a 4.35v charger they can explode.
