Why did you deconstruct the E10 instead of the less expensive specialty frame an not have to deal with a lesser frame, junk motors, and flight controller? Is it as strong or light? I'm confused.....help

It’s more durable than the Induxtrix frame, but it’s Heavier.

Would have been great to see how you replaced the pigtail. Soldering skills can take this hobby to the next level and seeing your challenges/technique can help us all improve. Any chance you'll make simple 'how to' videos; Soldering, programming with beta flight, how to manage LVC, increase flight time, etc.

Nice, smart way to go about it. Newbeedrone has some quality stuff but they're a little pricy. Racedayquads has some sweet stuff too for a better price - if you haven't checked them out yet

Did you solder 2 leads to the battery/power pads? I have been looking for a solution to using jst PH 2.0 and not having to soldering the cam to the board. No PH 2.0 pigtails out yet :(

So, question? When you desoldered the jst to replace it with the 2.0 jst...did you desolder from the top of the control board? Because it looks like you can't really desolder from where the wires are actually soldered at.

I desoldered it from the bottom, where the wires were actually attached. It was tough though, mine were in there really well. There's nothing wrong with hitting them from the top and bottom, it should only make it easier. Let me know how it goes

I'm using the SkyRC iMax B6, which only charges to 4.2v. So it doesn't take advantage of the 4.35v, but it's healthier for the battery. The iMax B6 MINI and the Turnigy Accucell 6 are able to charge to 4.35v if you want to check those out.

Yea, that charger is capable of charging high voltage up to 4.35v

The beebrain flight controller has been out of stock over at newbiedrone for ages and despite leaving an email address to be notified when it's back in stock, when I did receive the "Back in stock" notification and was on the site within minutes of receiving it, the page is still showing "out of stock" and all attempts to contact them have gone unanswered. They currently have a St Patrick's day sale on and are celebrating their 1 year in business birthday but all the popular stuff is out of stock and at this rate, and in addition to their poor customer service in not replying to queries and failing to publish relative comments, they will be out of business before their next birthday! So, I'd suggest looking somewhere else for a suitable flight controller.

why 2 blade props any better than the original?

2 blade props give you longer flight times, like up to a whole minute longer depending on how aggressive you're flying. The more blades the less efficient the prop is, and the tiny amount of weight you remove just makes it that much easier on the motor. Some people say the 4 blades are more responsive though. I recommend testing it out for yourself, it's a fun little mod. Just make sure you have some extra props in case you mess one up.

They come with 4 blade props, you have to cut them down to 2 yourself
