Instead of the canon adapter i would highly suggest the villtrox speedbooster for the m50. Makes your camera closer to a "fullframe" camera, so a 50mm would be a 55mm instead of a 80mm with the 1.6x crop.

Not a top 10 item for most people, but you can't overlook many of the various speedbooster options available on the EF-M. If you already have a bunch of FF glass, it will adapt well to EF-M minimizing the crop factor. Biggest downside is the size and heft of FF glass on EF-M making it difficult to hold with one hand.

The main reason why i decided to pull the trigger and get an m50 mkii was since i already had around 5 ef/ef-s lenses. With an adaptor i wouldnt have to go out and buy all new glass. The transittion from a budget 2000D seems like it should be fairly smooth.

I really appreciate and followed a lot of your suggestions including the screen protector for my m50mk2. I read a lot of ppl saying their screen wouldn’t close properly with the protector… why is that? Is there any advice on that?
@markwiemels3 жыл бұрын
On my camera the screen can be closed, with the screen facing into the camera, but it does not “click” into place. This really isn’t an issue for me as I would only close the screen, with the screen facing in, to protect the screen (which is now protected by the screen protector). You can also turn the screen on and off manually, if you don’t want the screen coming on, and want to only use the viewfinder.

I will try to do a video about my flash setup in the next few days. I have just completely changed systems, and sold off my Canon made flash system. This is the trigger - geni.us/LOQG This is the flash - geni.us/8ae1k I use the trigger and up to two of the flashes (one is plenty to start with). This is a high end professional level setup, which has better function than the genuine Canon flash system, and for far less money. The flash battery goes all day and recovers for the next shot almost instantly, my mind was blown the first time I used it.

My screen protector stops the screen from clicking in when closed, and the screen facing in. In addition to considerations about electronics, someone had a comment that, "One thing to watch out for, these tubes create a new focusing distance range.
