love Chanel no 19. Can't explain it. It just is so pure, clean, bit cold and detached. It's a shield from the cruel world to me. I used to wear Cristalle EDT quite often. At one point gifted it to my sis, as I became kind of bored of it and prefer no 19 anyway. I like Chanel is Coco Noir a lot. It gives that warm, cocooning feel to me. Coco is a blessing as well. Prefer EDT over EDP, however EDP works wonders in Fall season. I am a fan of 1932 and 1957 as well.

How. HOW could I have missed this. Here is me being very specific 😂: - No 5 Vintage from 50’s (got it sealed from my grandmother who was a collector - yes, I’m extremely lucky. Interesting video Dacob, thank-you. You have aroused my curiosity about La Pausa, and I just purchased a sample of 31 rue Cambon, which sounds like something I would like. I also have a deluxe sample of Gardenia on the way, which I'm greatly looking forward to. I too am very surprised that Cuir de Russie didn't make your top 10! It's certainly in my top 5 Chanels, which include 5 (edc or parfum), 19, 22, Cuir de Russie (vintage edt & parfum) and Cristalle (edt). That & 19 transport me back to the 70s, and #5 edc was the 1st really good bottle of scent I bought myself at age 14. I also love Misia, like 1957, and may well come to love 31 rue Cambon & Gardenia - thanks for the recommendations!

The positions of a few keep on changing, also based on getting a best-version true vintage here and there? I keep changing my rotation as well. haha! But I said that in my video. Being honest here. I love my CHANELs and they rotate but most of them actually stay on top. I almost included CDR in the list but LA PAUSA won in the end because it is more versatile to me. I wear LA PASUA all year round while CDR is only in my rotation in late spring and summer. but all this can change of course and I might start using CDR in colder months again too! haha

Loved your picks Dacob! I am so hopeful that Chanel will create an extrait version of La Pausa, as it is one of my favorites as well, but sadly, the EDP does not last at all on me. I was delighted to hear that you like all versions of No. 22, because that is also one of the most delightful fragrances from this line. I have the Exclusif version, but I think it is not significantly superior to the EDP and in future will buy that (in the largest size). These are magical, transporting scents that can lift the spirit, calm the mind, and are like no other on the market. Well done video!

Babe! You should review Bleu de Chanel. I got a sample of the EDP, and it is incredibly deep and complex. You might like it! I usually stick to feminine fragrances, but I was curious what Bleu would smell like. Something about it reminds me of the ocean.

Which reminds me, I need a new Pour Monsieur. Soon. I am running perilously low. I find that when a favourite perfume begins to run low, I cut down my usage to delay the need for a new bottle. Once the new bottle arrives, I go crazy with it. A magnificent selection. I just looked on the local Chanel website. They have the Christalle EDP and a Cristalle Eau Verte EDT. But the bottle looks different from yours. I wanted to go perfume shopping on the weekend, but I must remember to spend cautiously until the Chanel NO 5 anniversary is announced. I really need to try Coco again. I was so smitten with Coco Noir that I never really did think about Coco. Thank you for the video. Lots of love and I hope you are having a fabulous Easter break.

Hi there! I'm a new subscriber and I am just getting started with my Chanel collection. I have learned SO much from you so far. I originally found you through the Cacharel Lou Lou video you did and I instantly fell in love! I'm wondering if you might be able to help me...I bought my second Chanel fragrance (I bought it online on eBay) the Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum Intense. I am so afraid it is a fake (it wasn't cheap either!). I watched a video on You Tube (how to spot a fake) and there is only one discrepancy on the bottle I purchased and that is on the bottom where it lists "92200 Neuilly Sur Seine" with an etched line below it. On the how to spot a fake video the fake bottle has nothing below the line, the authentic bottle should have words below the line. I am going to be so upset if I bought is a fake. Do you happen to own this fragrance and are there indeed words below the line? If this is a fake, I have learned a very valuable lesson to never buy from anywhere but an authorized seller. Please tell me it's real! I hope you can help me?! Thanks for any insight you might provide, A new subscriber for life!

My top 10 is: 10. Bois des îles 9. Paris - Biarritz 8. Pour Monsieur 7. Sycomore 6. No 5 5. Antaeus 4. Coco 3. Misia 2. No 22 1. 31 Rue Cambon I have a problem choosing between No 22 and 31 Rue Cambon for the first position, but while the former is still a perfume from the 20s which I appreciate as such, the latter is somewhat closer to our times and so it wins for me. I know you are vehemently opposed to the EDPs in the Les Exclusives collection: personally, I don’t begrudge them, I think they’re way above average. Plus, the EDT has now been totally discontinued so there’s no point in moaning about it, we just need to enjoy what we have.

Also great choices Bogdan! Thank you for sharing your favorites with us! I am not completely against ALL Les Exclusifs EDPs!!!!! There are a few exceptions: I LOVE GARDENIA EDP, N°22 EDP and LA PAUSA. And as for "moaning" about prefering the EDTs... Uhmm... I never moan about it! I have my stock of EDTs which I stocked up on when the news hit that they were going to be discontinued. I have a lifetime supply for myself. But just because the EDTs are no longer in production, I will not stop saying that the EDPs are better, just because the EDTs are no longer available. I will keep repeating that the EDTs are better than the EDPs because they ARE better. Simple. If the EDPs get better, I will be honest about it and will say that they have become better. Until that day comes or until CHANEL doesn't bring back the EDTs, I am not changing my tone on this.

OMG! My beloved Pour Monsieur by Chanel. It NEVER comes up on anyone's list of any kind. I've worn it for over 35 years (among others). I still wear it along with Eau Sauvage and Guerlain's Vetiver. As for Chanel... La Pausa edp is my second favourite Chanel perfume.
