CHANEL CRISTALLE review - lightest and darkest sophistication

Cristalle..love. Been wearing it for 20 years plus. I wear the edp. I get compliments a lot, but this doesnt smell the same on everyone. It is a bit green to me, as a fragrance but very feminine and an easy daily perfume.

I just don't understand why o why you have only 34 likes because I think your perfume reviews are so much more informative than many others out there. Anyhow, I love your perfume reviews because for example, I' m contemplating buying Coco Noir, and would love to find a nearby Chanel boutique in Houston so that I can try Chanel Crystallem. I've heard so many good things about it that I can't wait to find it so that I can test it. thank you for taking the time to review all this wonderful perfumes. I used to use Chanel Allure for a while there, and now I'm about to own my next Chanel which is Coco Noir which I think is a lot like Coco Mademoiselle but a bit sweeter, and def more beautiful than any of the others. thank you for the review of Crystalle. Love your honesty about maturity. I fell in love with it yesterday ( 2020) .. had no idea it existed. You said it perfectly: its not overpowering.Cyclamines? Maybe thats the one that attracted me.And this balsamic scent trying to find it like a crystal.. addicted!!🌟🌟🌟

I start using cristalle since the nineteen when I were in my early twenties for long long time and I lost it between all the niche fragrances but what I remember is how beautiful is that perfume and not less complicated than any of any niche if not better

Cristalle was the first Chanel fragrance I was mesmerized by as a child.I have a bottle of the vintage Body Satin Spray -opaque,plastic bottle ,black top ,beige bottom.I also have the edt which I prefer.You are right the edp is a very different lady altogether.The satin spray is much darker&the original oakmoss is very strong.I love this one so much-Excellent review:)

This is my fragrance for ice, snow and cold. It's how I like to use it. Just for myself. When I want my mind clear and peaceful. Not so sure Chanel will stop it. They already stopped the body line,the splash bottles and the 60 ml spray. They keep only one size. It wouldn't make sense to have the EDT in the Exclusive range and the EDP (I just don't like it) in the mainstream collection.

Great review! I fell in love with Cristalle diring my honeymoon in 1992 and bought the 100ml this was my signature scent for a couple of years. Very complex, in a sparkly, subtle and poetic way. I recently discovered Ctistalle Eau Verte which us very good but a bit screechy compared to the original. I really don't care for the Cristalle EdP though. I find it cloying.

Daahlink where has this scent been all my life? I just came back from Nordstrom with a bottle, and I'm I'm love! This is the perfect balance of floral and green, not overwhelming. Might even be a winner for work this summer in this blazing Texas heat and humidity. Fantastic review of this brilliant scent! XOXO p.s. You look about 19 in this video! Shesh!

I just got a bottle, it really is so good! This one was totally off my radar but I did a blind sniffing of all the Chanel range at the Atelier Beauté in Soho, and this was my first choice! I was sad to see it shows on backorder on the website but I ordered it anyway, and sure enough about 20 days later it arrived! I've realized Eau de Magnolia by Frederic Malle is like an updated version of this and I wonder if Malle was using Cristalle as a reference.

The EDT is the original version of CRISTALLE, from the seventies, made by Henri Robert. The Eau de parfum version is from the eighties/nineties and it was made by Jacques Polge... Its a different fragrance in my opinion... There is only one CRISTALLE and that is EDT for me. The EDP as well as the eau verte are both nice but they are not CRISTALLE ;) xoxo

Great review. A close friend of mine in the 90s wore Cristalle EDP and I loved it on her but not on me. I now have Cristalle Eau Verte, which is a lot more citrusy but am now interested in trying this one as well.

I have a bottle of Cristalle, im not sure if how many milliliters it is but i think its more than 50ml, the juice is quite dark or more yellow now, and the cap when u take off, the silver part of the black cap comes off too. I think it is vintage im not quite sure what year :)

I got a vintage bottle in this Design with the "Eau de Toilette" on top of the "Chanel". The Juice is darker than the Chanel N5 EDT I got. The Juice in your bottle is almost clear. I guess this has been reformulated many times over the years :(

Atomiseur should never have been changed with a huge silver and black cap on a clear glass bottle. No stains of perfume on the silver part...

I love this fragrance so much. Your legend about the green cristal among the transparent ones is so nice to listen to. You are my personal Chanel perfume "medieval knight". Lovely. I would like to know which edt/edp from these would you recommend me to buy...(no.5edt/cristalle eau verte/no.5 l eau) if you have time to answer this. I love all of them but the budget is not so generous as now I am at home with my two little kids. I can afford only one perfume. I can't decide.

I listen to you like a kid at the school. How you could have such an amount of information in your young head? It's really amazing. Could I ask for your advice about what perfum or eau de toilette, which stains in my skin, should I buy if I hate floral, fruity smells and only loves talc smell? I know, I know, but I temted to try Blanche by Byredo, but I can't teste it. For year I'm using Aqua di Parma cologne, is the only that I've tried that don' t hurt my stomach and makes me sick. +Mar Fernandez Hi Mar! Thank you for the lovely comment :) Have you tried Dior's "Bois d'argent"? It is full of iris which makes it a dry talcum-y perfume. The iris creates the effect of powdery dryness even though it is a flower. Otherwise I would also try a bitter scent from Hermes called "cologne de Gentiane blanche" its a very strange scent. If anything it has a touch of citrus in the opening but then it goes darker and bitter. Great for summer and very dry. xoxo

What do you think...between Cristalle and N19 which one is stronger and more sophisticated? +Naivanes NLM Thank you so much for the lovely comment and words of support :) I would say N°19 is more intense for dry skin but at the same time it might not be what you might like in a desert atmsphere and climate... I suggest you to definitely try it out before purchasing it. Both N°19 edt and CRISTALLE edt were made by Henri Robert (during the life of Coco Chanel. That means she smelled and approved of them). the N°19 edp and CRISTALLE edp were made after Chanel's death by Jacques Polge and are different from the original formulations but are more intense... so go figure... its a bit of a labirynth... I say try them on before purchasing! A great scent for hot dry desert weather in my opinion would be from HERMES: "eau de Gentian Blanche"... bitter dry rose and gineper and Gentian... I love it in summer and heat... xoxo

I sometimes miss having short hair but its easy to cut hair off… its however super difficult to wait for it to grow back again… so I would maybe miss the longer hair even more if I cut it short again…

Its a different scent. Henri Robert created the EDT and Jacques Polge created the EDP. Different epochs as well... The EDT smells more wide and the EDP smells more deep if that makes any sense to you ;) xoxo

I am so allergic to this perfume. It gives me a headache and makes me sick to my stomach. I have been given it for a gifts but I just can’t stomach this fragrance. One spray and I am sick to my stomach.
