I’m on my second SOG Elite, great blade VG10 steal gets very sharp. The only downfall is it will push its way out of you pocket if the clip gets bent I choose the 4 in blade instead of the 5

And btw you have to get the recon 1 in cts xhp. They did a test with the aus8a version and it cut 1in manilla rope 1408 times before it couldn't anymore, and then did it with their newer cts xhp and they had to quit after 6300 cuts!

The knife at 19:00 is not a Scallion. The Kershaw Scallion is smaller than the leek. It's a 2.something inch blade.

Why did Sonic quit making that knife I looked at it several times and I've had a couple of songs I like like the architect it was overpriced it's a better price now than it was five years ago from my recollection I paid a lot for it and I'll see him going for less than 300! They only have the SOG Spec Elite 2 in Auto they don't have the assisted.

Man, I hate SOG almost as much as I hate Gerber, but that was a pretty nice knife at the end. Good selection, different than some of the common models out there.

My favorite edc's are kershaws Camber, and skyline, crkt m16-01s which is the smaller model or "gentlemans folder" and the spiderco tenacious. First and last are great heavy duty blades. The others are "gentlemans folders, light in the pkcket and usually won't scare anyone except snowflakes who are afraid of any blade, even the spiderco bug. Lol ! Great videos!

I like your choice and display of edc knives. You started out saying that you really like tip up carry and the first knives you showed were all set up in that configuration, but starting with the ZT 300 through the Kershaw Scallion all had the ability to be carried tip up but we're not set up that way. If you carry these, why have you never changed the pocket clip orientation? It's simple to do as I'm sure you know. Why not just change it? Just wondering. It appears you are a Spyderco fan as am I but you have left out an awesome choice in the para military 2. Is that because it has a blade length of less than 3 1/2 inches? It is made with S30v steel and weighs only 3.75 ounces compared to the Manix 2 who's blade is also less than 3 1/2 inches and weighs 5 ounces. Over all it is an informative video. You may be surprised to know you can currently get the ZT 300 on Amazon for $113. Pretty good deal I think. Thanks and keep making videos.

Well, for my "Bad Neighborhood Knife", I use a Cold Steel Counter Point 1. I don't worry about the Clip, since the (4((;::)&@@@$!( POS BROKE after the 3rd time I had it attached to my Pocket! So it just gets shoved into a convenient pocket if needed. Also have the M16, the smaller 13Z version. And I occasionally break out my old Schrade/Old Timer "Bear Paw" (think Buck 110) that I picked up in '78 when I was in the Navy. And Trust Me, that knife has more Sea Time than some Chiefs nowadays! And still not a speck of rust or corrosion on the Blade. But lately, my cheap little Kershaw OSO Sweet ( gen 2) just seems to jump into my pocket, even if I'm carrying something else. It does fit into a Shirt pocket very well. Oh well, doesn't hurt to have a Backup.
