I too have a mother in the last stages of Alzheimer's. She's 91 years old and my brother and I joke that she's going to outlive both of us. She has lived so many years longer than we ever imagined. I know that we will have to go through that loss one day and your help of handling that grief. Love 💘 you and your videos.

Thats very true, but its also very important to BE HONEST with yourself and others. If someone is fat and very unhealthy, if you care about them, or even if you dont know them, you arent doing them any favors by pretending they are healthy or beautiful. In my opinion, the best thing you can do for people is to tell them the truth in a soft way, and telling them their personality and character is beautiful and strong, and that they can get healthy.

When you were talking about losing your dad, I remember thinking when my grandmother had a massive stroke and was put on Hospice (I was 40), “This can’t happen! I’m too young. I still need her!” I didn’t think I would get over her loss. I cried every day for at least a year. At some point, I realized that there are life-changing times throughout life that prepare you and strengthen you for the next life-changing moment you will face. Those times prepare you for the next difficult time, like climbing a mountain. My grandmother has been gone for 16 years. I still miss her so much but can remember the life lessons she taught me and enjoy the special times we had during her life without the sadness. Thanks for a great video! 😘

I do have a very diverse background and well-travelled as well, it's very interesting that the culture in the United States is that if you are a very busy person and multitasking and juggling multiple responsibilities then you are considered then a productive person, relevant and important, whereas certain parts in the world if you ask them what do you do for a living? it is actually rude to do that! because work/job, or how busy or productive you are does not define you as a person but instead of how you are able to balance life-based on what matters the most to you which is to live life with grace and enjoying and appreciating every moment and I'm pretty sure there's more to it than meets the eye.

On the topic of speaking to clients on the phone I used this tip. I found that having a mirror at my desk helped me keep my focus and be more engaged. Kind of like I was speaking to that person or group in person.

Exactly. I always say, don’t stress over the things you have no control over. It won’t do anyone any good, especially yourself!

Great questions that were submitted and answers! I turned 59 this year and had uterine cancer almost two years ago. Was told by my doctor that I couldn't have hormone replacement therapy. Huge bummer, as I've felt allover the place lately. I decided this week to start eating better and exercising regularly again. Your advice to control what I can, will greatly help! Thank you and God Bless you. ❤🌻

Your story on how you became a news anchor is an excellent demonstration of you make your own "luck." I've always told my son this and he is successful by some of the same actions. This is a good reminder to new grads in this recovering economy. Thanks for taking the time to share great information. Best always.

That's retirement! Dominique, not having a commitment in the world is a most fabulous feeling! I think when you have had a successful career when you know you gave it your all, it is such a fulfilling and deserving time of our lives. I wake up every morning with a gratitude beyond belief and I enjoy every moment. I wish this for you when you do retire. You are so deserving and I know will live in every moment!
