Love this one! In that Dracula movie, his love was named Lucy and her friend whom he bites is Mina - exactly the opposite of Bram Stoker’s version. My mama had the hots for Frank Langella when I was little (#80skid! 😜) so I saw it several times. Love the Rosemary’s Baby reference. I totally have to try that one now! Ikat Jasmine by Aerin is my favorite Jasmine fragrance, but it’s in all my favorites, know what I mean? I HATE pikake, though. It nauseates me God awful. Anyway, I’m rambling, but love your channel! You always entertain me while informing me, and I appreciate that. Been going through it recently, and it’s nice to take my mind off things. Thank you. ❤️

Thank you for this video! You speak about fragrance like I do, very animated and like you’re on a journey I love it 💕 I also suffer with PTSD and anxiety and jasmine is the ONLY scent that can calm me down or keep me present and level. The headier the better!

You came to my attention through the lovely Chantel Tiffany, very recently. I've come to realize that our taste is nearly perfectly aligned. Additionally, I love your style of presentation. I'm in deep love with the filthier jasmines and my current favorite is Jasmine Narcotique. It borders on pissy and I can't get enough! As for Serge Lutens, while a tuberose and not a jasmine, Datura Noir is my favorite funereal white floral from the house. Clean or dirty ! 🤣 I have one in my wishlist : Savage Jasmine by Sana Jardin... 🤍 and one i LOVE, which is paired with neroli (and tobacco and myrrh) is Fatima’s Steambath by TRNP. I filmed this video a few days ago . Choosing my fragrances was ridiculous. I have 141 fragrances with Jasmine in it. Lol. I like that you open your video just like I do mine. It's not just about Jasmine being in it, it's about it being the star of the fragrance. All of my note videos are that way. Jasmine is tricky, very tricky.

Yes Tera you're right! I have to say I am finding my way I think in this KZbin journey that I love. Jasmine can be a tricky note, and I chose these because they are showcasing that note. Otherwise you can't detect jasmine with everything else!!!

Really enjoyed this Gabi. . Not a huge fan of big Jasmine BUT it's truly a great material for so many different compositions, and I suspect there's a huge number of my fragrances that feature it. I do love Jasmins Marzipane by Lancome, that's my only Jasmine centric scent 👌🌸

Hi Gabby. Wonderful video like always. I love it when you talk about the dark sides of a perfume. In this case it made the scents so interesting to me, when you talked about these great movies. Usually I am not a big fan of jasmine, but sometimes I really like it. Like the wonderful creamy Jasmine Rouge. And of course Salome, because the Papillons are all so special and wonderful.

Hello, Fils de Joie is a gorgeous gorgeous jasmine scent with insane projection and longevity! I live in south Asia and night blooming jasmine is a staple here. Fils de Joie captures the aroma of it masterfully within a simple composition. Honey isn’t scandalesque here, it’s just a supporting note to all consuming jasmine. Musk is there too yet not potent enough to overshadow the jasmine.
