My Turbo Subaru BRZ is DEAD (simple fix or blown engine?)

Driving home a few nights ago, and I started to hear a knocking sound from the engine bay. I made it off the interstate before the car died, and it threw 10 codes for crankshaft position sensor. Car refused to start back up. I'm going to have to take it to a shop to get a professional opinion, so its going to be a little while before I know more. Thanks for watching!

I"ve heard that the Brz engine is not that stable when running boost, so the boost might have been to much for the crank, therefore knocking. I have no idea if i'm right or wrong.

Well the engine has a 12.5 to 1 compression ratio. Most turbo engines run 8-9.5 ratio. Which means the engine rods and bearings are under tremendous stress.
