The workers are very kind for sharing their food and cultural. As a hispanic we tend to in addition to pay we provide meals to our workers. Them providing you homemade meals just shows how invested they are in their work and team. You have so much support to help you heal.

I love the fall colors of the leaves that surround the red barn. At the 18 minute mark the yellow fall leaves next to the barn should be a picture. To me it would be a great example of how something was once ugly can be turned into something beautiful. You should make a copy of that slide. Love it.

I spent majority of the day crying. Newly single mum, my ex of 15 years moved in with a younger model 2 days after leaving me. I keep telking myself I'm better without him. But it hurts. My daughter whos 8 brought home her creative writing book from school yesterday, she had written an elaborate sweet story about going to the beach with her dad, step mum and new sep sisters (shes an only child). It was so bitter sweet. I had ached for another child so she had a friend but my ex said no. Now he has 3 step children. Okay had to poor my heart out to strangers on the internet. Been loving watching this house transformation and seeing Morgan also transform along the way. She bought this house a month before I gave birth to my first born and he’s now almost 2 1/2. I remember saying “I can’t wait to see the empty house tour video” thinking it would be before he turned 1. Im 45 and have had things haunt me for a long time. I have made strides and then I let them go, they come back, so happy to have this reminder to keep on going, again. I built a house and it was so hard, sold it and bought a dream house, now selling again to downsize and buy the dream location. The rollercoaster really doesn't stop for some of us. The end is insane bc half way through when showing the paint swatches I thought the house almost looks done, like if you have your floors and stains picked out and they’re ready to go - like you said - it’s progressing so fast. I almost didn’t want to comment bc Ik allllllll the setbacks every step of the way and it feels like everything is going right, but the way you put it at the end, we have to move past our anxieties and just bc there have been setbacks or lawsuits lol in the past doesn’t mean they’re bound to happen, or doesn’t mean that we can’t handle inconveniences when they happen bc they’re just a part of life. Expect the unexpected & learn & grow & deal, but also be optimistic and enjoy the highs and good moments and the progression towards a better you/ more finished house 🥹🥹🥹 love you so much Morgan 🤍🫶 so happy for you & your growth :)
