My UPDATED Mouse Ear Collection | Disney, Small Shop, & Handmade

I thought I'd now make it an annual tradition in sharing my mouse ear collection! I have quite a lot of ears, mainly because I make a lot of ears! Most of the new Disney official ears I got this year are by Loungefly (not too many ears from the Parks excited me), and I also got some new awesome 3D-printed ears from small shops! I tallied through all my Confectionear Shop orders and DIYs, I made over 430 pairs of ears in 2020!

Last December was my first time going to any Disney park. I went to Disneyworld. My very first purchased ears are my favorite. They are the red sequins ears with a green sequins bow and a peppermint in the middle. You have inspired me to make my own ears and they are turning out well. So thank you for the tutorials! I agree, most of the ears that Disney releases just don't interest me but I really loved the Disneyland marquee ears and the Shanghai Disneyland Roarin' 20's ears! All of your ear designs from 2020 were fantastic lol thank you for another great video, Emily! :)

Hi Emily. Sorry I am late watching this. I really enjoyed seeing all your ears in one video. We are twins on the Disneyland Marquee ones. I am drawn to anything Disneyland related since that is my home park. Those small shop (Aloha) ones of Sleeping Beauty Castle are gorgeous! I love all the Halloween ones you made. The Disneyland marquee ears are really cool. Makes me feel like I'm there. Your sherpa ears are gorgeous! I also loved your Asoka ears. Very nice job. Hoping to make some ears for myself this year. What do you think about Disney copying small shop designs like the marquee ears? My favorite ears this year are the periwinkle ones!!!

The marquee ears are an interesting case. As a small shop you can’t legally produce something with the Disneyland name and logo, so Disney rather than taking legal action against them just takes and manufactures their idea (like they did with the buttons). That being said, it’s so blatant when Disney is being lazy and just ripping things off from small shops, they own all their IP and they have endless creative possibilities of things they could make.
