I love to see how things are done in other countries too. Everything in New Zealand (or at least this part of NZ) is so clean, well taken care of and modern compared to the US. We have so much trash all over, rundown buildings and overgrown, dead vegetation everywhere because most Americans (including local governments) have little to no respect for their country and fellow countrymen. I love to see countries like NZ where it's obvious that the citizens care about their homeland like Japan and Scandinavian countries.

Once you put your personal touch on this van it will be awesome! You needed something like this to lesson the load on yourself as none of us are getting any younger. Holy Moly, Tony, you weren't kidding when you said you had a long driveway. How do you get up and down it if you have an ice storm! I know the answer to that; very carefully. I think your new camper is great; it does have a lot of personality and the former owners took excellent care of it. Good choice. Loved the video but it does lose a bit when Bruno is not with you. Just love that dog.

Hello Tony, That is an interesting camper van. Can't wait to see how things go. For water tank make sure to sanitize it frequently. They can become a bacteria farm very easily. Add some solar, lithium, an inverter and you'll be set. I can't believe how good of shape it's in for the age.

Love the new camper. You might get some “Lego” stacking blocks to help level camper. Amazon sells them or any Walmart style store. You’ll love it. Like you said, it’s warm and dry. Sometimes you just want to go camping but it’s cold or rainy and you don’t want to deal with the rain, cold and tents.

New Zealand is a gorgeous country. 🫣 Here, we really had a chance to view the beautiful scenery as you traveled around; instead of just at a pretty camping area. I love Buddy! He is just the perfect size for you… not too big, just right (she said)!😄 I didn’t know if you have toilet facilities on board until you emptied the tank. Do you have a little shower area, too? I love how the interior is outfitted. Plenty of places to put stuff… and that comfy looking bed! Such a cozy area up there. I know that you will love camping in your new toy for years. Thanks for taking along on his “maiden” voyage. Bruno really hated to be left behind, I could tell! His greeting at the end was so fun to watch. Loved this. Can’t wait for the grim one soon! Totally with you on the kids! As a single camper who's wife refuses to go camping I find it difficult in west Australia to find a time when the kids are at a minimum! I just cant remember having that much time off school when I was at school! To be fair children should be allowed to run a bit wild when camping but there is not much free style camping here due to such strict Parks & Wildlife rules. How many KM,s are on the van Tony? I doubt I could find one in that condition for that price In WA.

Very cool, and a bit envious! The adjustment, much like our switch from '97 pop up to hybrid camper. FYI, if you're cooking inside, be prepared for regular clean up, as it gets greasy quickly, even with vent fan. And when gas is turned on, it takes a bit for it to reach the stove, and fridge too (and on elect or gas, fridge takes a lot of time to cool down). And switching to LED lights inside, all around, will preserve battery, makes a huge difference. Oh yeah, quite an adjustment! And it's great being able to stop anywhere, makes trips so easy.

Ohhh man love that rain. Get an awning and then you can sit outside watching the rain. Of course, decent temp. I had a 30ft Dutchman years ago. Drove from Washington State to Colorado and back. Just beautiful and peaceful. Take care and enjoy.
