I love the roof line going into the trunk, where it looses me a bit is the front hood, it's not aggressive enough, the lights remind me of the Chevy cars. And I prefer a taller center console and arm rest.. I have a 2016 Nissan Maxima and I loooove it. Oh.. Also, the seats look basic.. My main reason for loving my maxima is the seats, even the back seats!

Thankyou for this follow up,I greatly appreciate it. I'm just nervous about the vw product. I'm hearing an reading mix reviews about the reliability of vw. Like you I like how this car looks but looks are not everything. I live in the snow belt so my next car needs to be something along like lines of 4 wheel drive so I'm leaning towards this. So I'll see what time will bring,I still have time on my current chvy lease.

Great video as always! one of my pet-peeves is the wheels. When manufacturers are using wheels that are directional, like in the Arteon, they have a slightly backward angle on the leading edges on the driver side. But on the passenger side they are angling forward! if you're going to make cool rims that's great, but make both sides of the car look the same! ugh!

Pull hatch to close? My 2019 R-Line is power hatch. Thought that was standard. One of my biggest reasons for getting this over the A4/A5 was the media screen placement - it's a pet peeve, but really can't stand Audi tacky tacking of the screen on the dash the way they do. This is far more elegant solution.

Power hatch was only standard on the Premium SEL, if I recall correctly. You can buy the parts and add the power lift to the cheaper trims. The power lift and the 3D camera were the only things on the Premium that were of interest to me.

@@alifarsani2469 Any car can have problems, but if you look at any consumer survey report, such as consumer reports. Kia is right underneath Toyota and Lexus when it comes to reliability. I don't think you'll find anyone in the know who would say the a VW on average would be more reliable or cheaper to maintain then a comparable Kia.

@@alifarsani2469 Which Kia cars are we talking about here? Because Kia has improved their vehicles by a large margin over the years. Back in the day they were just as bad as Hyundai. Now, they are rated pretty high in terms of reliability. I mean, sure there are lemons out there. But if the majority of the population has voted the Kia vehicles up near the makes of Toyota and Lexus, that's saying something.

Even the Kia 2.0 is a bit faster, handles tighter and more sporty, costs less with similar features. The Arteon has more interior and cargo space, rides better, more quiet, seem higher quality, great road cruiser. Rear view visibility in the Arteon isn't great (better with the rear passenger head restraints removed), but the Kia's is just abhorrent. Arteon infotainment works well (except it just couldn't voice recognize my odd home street name for Nav) -- I didn't use the Stinger's enough to really judge. I drove the Arteon and Kia back to back within 30 minutes, and bought the Arteon.

@@attocoulomb I've been thinking of which car to purchase between the Arteon and stinger as well. Are you still happy with your choice? If I do go with the Arteon, I would possibly add the APR tune at some point, would be getting well over 300hp in it.
